My wife and I had the good fortune to stay at the Riad Djebel recently. It truly is an oasis of calm in the maddening throng of Marrakech. Sylvain and the team could not have done more for us and we were especially grateful to him for imparting his local knowledge. Highly recommended for people looking for tranquil respite after... I am lucky enough to travel often, to places as diverse as Madagascar and Laos. I always try and stay somewhere owned by individuals, which have a unique character and give something back to the local community. Riad Djebel is an outstanding example of a place to stay which is comfortable, welcoming, charming, friendly, value for money, and stylish, all... More

The design and architecture of Riad Djebel are just stunning. It has a modern feel while still being Moroccan - a really great update to an already lovely style. Many of the bedrooms have recessed areas for the bed which is very romantic. Spacious, great art and simple decorations. I've stayed in several Riads in Marrakesh and I think aesthetically... More

On arrival, the owner Sylvan spent 20 minutes with us offering advice on all sorts, from restaurants, to navigation, to handling overly zealous locals, and what not all. We saw either himself or his business partner Miguel every day. They were always keen to offer advice and any kind of assistance that they could as well as just there to... More

Marrakech is one of the most vibrant places we've visited and can be a bit overwhelming at times. The riad is a beautiful oasis of peace in the heart of the city. The rooms are so beautiful, clean and fresh, the staff is really nice and the food exquisite. The whole spirit and beauty of this riad is something not... More

This is a fabulous riad not too far from the main square. The two owners are very friendly and attentive, and will provide lovely candlelit dinners on request. The walk to the main square is only about 10 minutes, passing along alleyways with little shops and market stalls. The main souk is not to be missed, as it is very... More

My boyfriend and I stayed with Sylvainne and his staff in their lovely quiet Riad Djebel in Central Marrakech over the weekend and we had such a great time I just had to tell everyone! The room was spotless, cleaned everyday and so big with wardrobes, chairs a very comfortable bed and a lovely ensuite - we were in such... More

Stayed at this wonderful riad with my partner for 7 days and from the moment we stepped through the door, we had a homely feeling. The owners Sylvain et Miguel made us feel very welcome and were always available with advice on things like excursions and where to buy argan oil. We dined at the riad the first night and... More

I stayed here for 4 nights, having found it from TA. It was a good choice. The owners are a Colombian painter and a French ornithologist who succeeded in creating a comfortable if sparsely elegant refuge. The riad is localized in a non-descript side alley in the medina; reaching it requires a walk through the heart of the Old Quarter.... More
