This was a last minute trip to celebrate my wife’s job promotion. I was aware that there was some kind of feast going on so I called the hotel and asked how this would affect our stay. They said that the city would be a little slow during the feast but everything would be like normal. Well, it was not.... more

Dear Potential Riad Noir d'Ivoire Guest, Due to the lack of wedding related posts on Marrakech, this is an account of my experience at Riad Noir d'Ivoire. Just to fully disclose, you must book the entire Riad in order to have a wedding here, otherwise read on.. I can honestly say that all my wedding guests and I are suffering... more

From the moment that Cous Cous the donkey leads you to the Riad , special is the word that comes to mind. This was a joint birthday and wedding anniversary trip that my wife had booked as a surprise for me. The Riad itself is style and sophistication in its best form. Our "love nest" of a suite with its... more

I took my partner for a surprise to Marrakech for a long weekend. We had spent the first two nights of our trip in another fantastic Riad (just 30 metres away) but nothing prepared us for the immaculate design and detail of Riad Noir. The pictures/ website just do not do any justice to the first and lasting impressions you... more

We stayed at the Riad for 4 nights as part of a family wedding celebration. Jill, the owner and tireless hostess, has built and designed a most exquisite boutique retreat that is a welcome respite from Marrakesh's intense medina. For four days and nights, Jill, Damien, the general manager, and the outstanding staff wined and dined a large group with... more

Very beautiful riad, close to souks. Good service, very welcoming. Extremely clean with lovely hamman and pool. Owned and run by an English lady with French influence. Not able to get a taxi to door, but owners happy to arrange any transport required. Lovely breakfast. more

We attended a lovely wedding in Marrakech. The weeklong stay at Riad Noir d'Ivoire included well-planned excursions to the market for shopping and street dining, a camel trek, and a chance to explore Morocco's night life. A friendly guide was sent when needed, a courtesy cell phone was provided for each room for emergencies, and reliable taxis were arranged every... more

What a truly fantastic place this is. We stayed in the Riad for a week in October to cellebrate my wife's 40th birthday. Our main worry was how our two year old would go down. He's very well behaved but some hotels and their guests can get a bit put out by such a young guest. I needn't have worried.... more

Have just returned from a three night stay at Riad Noir D'Ivoire - a special celebration weekend for my wife's birthday. I can't praise the Noir D'Ivoire highly enough. The Riad is a wonderful oasis within the medina of Marrakech and is beautifully presented and smoothly run, with a fine attention to detail that makes an oustanding experience. Jill and... more

My wife and I stayed at Riad Noir d'Ivoire for three nights at the start of November for our first wedding anniversary. I cannot praise the riad highly enough. It was simply fantastic. The riad is wonderfully located in the Medina and offers incredible luxury and an oasis of calm that you can escape to after a hard day of... more
