Located on a quiet downtown street. Close to restaurantes. Best of all, the Literary Caffe, next door of hotel sells beer! (and other drinks). Rooms are old styled and very spacious. There are rooms with shared bathroom or with private bathroom. Not so far form the medina, its posible to walk from hotel to main square of medina.

Fine stay in the modern part of Marrakech. Friendly staff, basic and small breakfast, free WiFi. Location is convenient, it is a quite area just one block away from the main street. One detail to keep in mind: there was no airco and in summer it is about 38 degrees.

For the price, this is a good option for a short stay in Marrakesh. It is located near some good international restaurants and in the same courtyard as the excellent Cafe Livre. Rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. The strangest thing was the lack of a door to the toilet/bathroom so very little privacy if, like me, that bothers... More

I guess some folks love to do the medina experience but there's lots to love in Marrakech's Gueliz area and this budget hotel is friendly and in a great location near important places like Cafe du Livre, the Carrefour supermarket, and Grand Cafe Poste. Nothing fancy but the beds are pretty comfortable and if you are willing to go with... More

Clean and very decent hotel. Lovely atrium where you can relax and destress from the busy city that is Marrakech. The staff is helpful and relaxed. The price is amazing for what you get - very recommendable.

I've passed this place several times whilst going to and from the Cafe Du Livre (another great find in Marrakech---used English books and great food!) and recently I had time to stay there while most of Morocco dealt with unprecedented rainfall and flooding. For a budget hotel, it is very clean, charmingly decorated and the staff, while low key, are... More

In the year since I last stayed they have opened a floor of modern new 300 DH rooms with ensuite basin/shower and flatscreen tv with satellite. (BBC World channel 500). Wifi now reaches most room. New cat! Lower rooms still being updated so some hammering during the day should be concluded soon.

We used this budget hotel as a convenient base from which to explore Marrakech, having decided that the riad's in the medina weren't as good value for money (particularly in relation to the Fez medina riad we stayed in). This place turned out to be a little gem! Set around a small courtyard with the option of fan-cooled rooms, the... More

Service was terrible. Charged for an extra bed even though the one requested was denied us upon arrival (we weren't given a reason). The man grunted and said no. After 2 nights, the lady (who speaks English) at desk was an absolute b...rat. When I told her that we never had the extra bed either night, she said "too bad,... More

Thank you for your review! I need to clarify two things. First, we charge per person and not per room. So if you are three, we will charge you for three not for two. Plus if you needed a bed as you said, how come you spent two nights at the hotel? Did you sleep on the floor? Second, we... More

The hotel is located around a 20 minute walk from the Djemma-El-Fna, in the Ville Nouvelle district, and is off a quiet side street. The staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and next door is a great bar!
