I just wanted to react on the taxiprices I read in other reviews. Transport is very cheap in Morocco. A taxiride in Marrakech costs maximum 1 euro. Yes, one single euro. But ofcourse if they see tourists who do not have any idea of prices, they take advantage. And certainly if there is no other transportoption as hotel is out... more

We have organised a trip to Marrakech, in order to book a lovely villa for our daughter's wedding which is taking place next April 2010. We have stayed at this very nice and well furnished villa, with it's huge swimming pool, lovely garden, tennis court and other activities. For us, it was too close to the center, we were looking... more

My husband and I, together with our 2 kids stayed there for one week in the begining of September. What can I say, it is just so lovely to be served the way we were, have people welcoming you and taking care of you and of your kids. Our children were very happy to swimm in this large and beautiful... more

REALLY difficult to find!!! Its far out on the countryside, remote from absolutely everything. If you do not have a rental car, DON'T book this hotel! There is nothing to do outside the gates!! And it is far from the city and from a bus stop. We had a rental car and got a map from the hotel on e-mail... more

Beautiful place/hotel/room. And very clean. Too bad there's nothing there once outside of the hotel gate. Staff is very friendly and helpfull and was very kind to our little girl. Sometimes dificult to get understood (their english and french isn't allways as it should). The hotel is located about 15 km away from the centre. Transfer to centre with hotel... more

I have read the other reviews and can completely agree with most of what has been said - but unfortunately not all. I am going to be as fair as I can, now that I have calmed down. The place itself is fabulous, perfectly located away from Marrakech but close enough to get in quickly. The pool and rooms and... more

What a wonderful place. Marrakech is a superb, vibrant and welcoming city to visit. However, it does take it out of you. How about staying in a liitle jewel, an oasis of calm and tranquilty ? Las Palmeras really is a find. We met several fellow holidaymakers staying in the hustle and bustle of the Medina and I felt genuinally... more

We stayed at this one year old Riad and it was perfect. Fortunately we were the only guests at this 9 roomed newly built hotel, just outside the Medina. My wife and I just wanted a long weekend of relaxation with good weather but the combination of the glorious Marrakech weather and this well maintained, family run friendly hotel surpassed... more
