Me and my girlfriend stayed for week in this Riad and we absolutely loved it! Abdel and Zahira were awesome guests attending to every single one of our needs. We stayed at the Atlas room which is located in the terrace with a beautiful view. Every night Abdel would offer us mint tea which we drank at the fireplace in... More

To avoid being ripped off here treat the owners of this riad as you would any other trader in Marrakesh. The owners, a Christian French couple, invited us to share their Christmas Eve dinner. As a non-meat eater the menu was a disaster – oysters, foie gras, baked fennel and chocolate gateaux. I was unaware of the menu when accepting... More

Being too friendly with guests has sometimes bad consequences, specifically with a person in bad faith. This couple has spent a week into the RIAD SOUMIA and we have misunderstanding for Christmas dinner. - Ian J. has not been charged for the dinner ( free ), even if we served to him specific dishes for non-meat eater and drinks as... Our stay at Riad Soumia was very pleasurable and definitely worth repeating! The Riad is beautifully moroccan styled (there are pictures of the construction progress in a folder). We stayed for 7 nights (Zagora room), and were very friendly welcomed by Abdelfattah. The Riad was clean (our room were cleaned daily) and very quiet (from the hectic medina). The breakfast... More

Read Soumia was just as good on the second visit as it was on the first! That says it all really, but apart from the obvious (clean, good food etc) I must add that both staff and owners made us really welcome and went out of their way to help in every respect. The Riad has a very friendly feel... More

This is a stylish, quiet, well-priced, roomy and austerely attractive French-owned Riad in an excellent Medina position close to the Bahia Palace and Place des Ferblantiers, just around the corner from the Maison Tiskiwin and convenient for local shops for water and snacks.. The owners, who may or may not be present, have deep professional roots in the country and... More

the room was clean and very nice, with a suitable size. workers and the owner are very friendly, helped us get cheap tours and really very good. I recommend this hotel. Besides its location in the Medina, really it makes the stay very enjoyable and a real Moroccan home

Abdel and his collegue we're very friendly and helpful and made our stay for three days a great joy. The room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was fine. The Riad itself is very quiet and still very close to where everything's happening in Marrakech. A triple A rating!

I have never felt more taken care of in my entire experience in hostels. Zafira and Abdel's sincere service is simply legendary and unmatched. Abdel's recommendations on where to go, what to eat and how to have fun are authentic and will surpass your expectations. The hotel is a small old house with romantic rooms. I would definitely stay here... More

Used the collection service from Airport which was a good choice given the location, having said that you do soon familiarise yourself with the streets. That all being made a little easier by the outstanding service the Riad provides to ensure you are fully equipped to wonder the alleys of Marrakech with ease. We were a little dubious with the... Perfect base to explore the medina and surroundings. The service was above and beyond expectations. Our host came to pick us up from another riad and we were looked after extremely well and always with the biggest smile. Our room was spacious and after finding our bearings, it was easy to navigate our way around. For our needs Riad Soumia... More
