We looked at a lot of reviews because there are so many riads in Marrakech. It's hard to know what to go for, but I thoroughly recommend Bakara. Why? If you are thinking of visiting Morocco, do yourself a favour - take a trip to Marrakech, and book a stay at this riad. We booked this Riad through Eric at Riad Maipa; Riad Bakara is run by his daughter Anouk. Although Anouk and her partner might not have Eric's experience and contacts, they certainly make up for it with enthusiasm, flexibility, and kindness, which made our stay. Geoffrey and Anouk are a lovely young french couple who just opened Riad Bakara a month ago.
