Excellent location in the Medina. Next to the El Badi Palace, 3 minute walk from Bahia Palace, 10 minute walk to the Jemaa-el-Fna square. The Jardin Majorelle 15 minute by petit taxi. Very helpful and friendly staff assist you to get your best holiday there. The Riad is quiet and clean, you can enjoy it's cosy rooms and the beautiful... More

We had a lovely stay at Riad Carina. The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful throughout, especially the hardworking Said who ensured we had everything we needed and more (even guiding us to a restaurant for dinner one evening!) The chef Aziza is very talented - the dinners at the riad are delicious, reasonably priced and beautifully served on the... More

It can appear daunting to find the first time - especially when the driver clearly wasn't sure where it was and was waving in the general direction of what appeared to be a series of alleys. In the end he called the Riad who kindly came and collected us. Once you arrive they sit you down with a map and... More

My husband and I stayed for 6 nights at Riad Carina. The Riad itself is beautiful and clean and the staff, especially Said, are all very friendly and helpful. The Riad, although a little hard to find at first down a small street, is in a great location within the old Medina walls and backs directly onto the El Badi... More

We stayed here for 4 nights for the first leg of holiday in Morocco. Its small and pleasant. The staff are friendly and kind always happy to help. If your travelling with children this might not be the place for you as it small we travelled with 3 children and found space abit tight with our luggage too. There's about... More

I visited Marrakech for the first time at the start of July, as a birthday present to myself. I chose the Riad Carina at the last minute, as it was within my budget. In all honesty, I could not have asked for a better place to stay! The riad looked far better than it does in the picture and my... More

Just back from Marrackech and the Riad Carina, as always Sa'id was most helpful from the moment we arrived until we departed. The Riad was excellent and we really enjoyed the roof garden with the storks, the position of the Riad means it is no more than 15 mins from many of the attractions, including the square, would recommend the... The Riad Carina is a modest but elegant riad which offers a cool and shady oasis just outside the central square, Jemaa El Fna. From the roof terrace you can basque in the heat and marvel at the white storks, stood like sentinels, on the red walls of the El Badi Palace next door. The morning breakfast is a hearty... More

Got back to the UK yesterday after a four day visit to Marrakech. When we arrived at the location of the Riad, it was a little daunting. We were ushered, by a local, down a rather dark little alleyway inhabited by quite a few bedraggled cats and kittens. We arrived at the Riad and were greeted by Said, a quietly... More

Dear Guest, I thank you very much for your detailed review. It is a pleasure for me to read that you enjoyed your stay in Marrakech at Riad Carina, even during the hard time of Ramadan. Concerning the service of wine and beer it is really difficult (especially in the very religious old town) to get alcoholic drinks during the... More

What a wonderful little place. Arriving at about 10pm we were welcomed by Sa'id who makes the most delicious mint tea - and we drank plenty! A perfect welcome to Marrackech, in a little Riad where nothing is too much trouble. Our twin room was small, but perfectly functional, with a lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water and air conditioning... More
