We stayed here for 6 days. A pretty, atmospheric little riad with very friendly, helpful staff. We had the Sahara room in the annexe which was very small with a tiny bathroom, but had the advantage of being quieter than rooms in the main building where there is an open courtyard to the other rooms. Had a wonderful candlelit dinner... More

Just returned from 5 days staying at the Riad Carina - just like people before us we can confirm that this hotel is an ideal place to stay while in Marrakech - so close to the madness yet peacefully calm inside, (many of Marrakech's landmarks are no more than a 15 minutes walk away). We were upgraded to the 'suite'... More

So pretty and romantic. Lovely roof terrace. You can nearly touch the walls of the old palace. Rooms not large, but most roads are hundreds of years old and none have huge rooms. But more than enough for a short break. Rooms so clean, bed was amazing, I am an insomniac and slept like a baby. The staff bent over... More

This hotel is an example of cosyness as a Riad must be. Located in the heart of the Medina, Riad Carina is a islando of silence and peace. The staff is polite, kind and helpfull. Our room was in the ground floor, with the separete spaces (a living room with sofa and the bedroom, plus the toilet). The staff helps... More

This was our first trip to Marrakech and we had booked 5 nights through British Airways at the Riad Carina. Well, having researched the Riad via this site last year and our choosing to stay here, we could not have asked for a better place to have stayed. Everything you are likely to read about the Riad is so correct,... More

Great location being only minutes from Djemaa El Fna. Place is clean and simple. Service is superb. They are very accommodating and attentive. Great value proposition given the price point. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend and I came here for four nights in early March and had a lovely stay. The Riad is down a side alley by the gate that leads to the ruins of the old palace, an excellent location that is within a short walking distance of most of the main sights of the Medina, and was relatively easy for... Ideal position... 100 m from Kasbah which is not really very touristy & also taxi rank is only 100m round the other corner. There is a refurbishment programme going on at the end of the alleyway to the Raid & from 1st impressions it looks to be well planned & will expand the area.
