I could spend a day writing about this place, it's far simpler to say it this way... this is a fantastic place, wonderful staff, great location. Such amazing personalised experience, you really know you are in a good place when you stay here. I strongly recommend the Isilf room, it has a private roof garden. A* venue from me, I... More

Just back from marrakech and the fantastic riad Ilayka. After the short trip from the airport you are met in the main square by one of the hotel staff who help with bags back to the oasis of the riad. The riad is traditional in style with a cool quiet courtyard. The bedrooms lead of this space and are large... More

Lovely place hidden in the medina, Nadja and her staff pamper you from the first minute you arrive until the end. My son was hungry and without any hesitation she made him a delicious chicken sandwich, free of charge! You feel at home, no stress with kids!!!!

This Riad (1) Is absolutely stunning, (2) Is perfectly located, under ten minutes walk from the main square, (3) provides a really special breakfast, (4) has a lovely terrace view, (5) has attentive and helpful staff. One feedback for the manager, who turns out to be the owner too, is just that she seems a bit scared of being really... More

Lovely Riad to start our trip to Morocco. Very close to the main square which was extremely handy once you know your way around. Some rooms come straight out onto the courtyard which was a bit strange at first. The others are on the first floor. Only took breakfast in the Riad even though dinner is on offer. Breakfast is... My husband and I stayed at Riad Ilayka in April of this year and it couldn't have been better! Our room was beautiful and everyone on the staff was very welcoming and friendly and always ready to help out with directions, suggestions for places to go and places to eat. All around excellent stay and we would definitely come back.

Incredible location, exceptional staff, and amazing rooms. Roof deck was out of this world. I've stayed at several other 5 star riads ($$$$) and Ilayka competes with them all at a much more reasonable price. Will stay here again next time I'm in Marrakech.

Amid the hustle and bustle of the Medina and Souks, Riad Ilayka was a beautiful oasis to being and end the day. The rooms are beautifully done - especially the stunning bathroom. The courtyard where breakfast served each day is so tranquil. rooftop catches the breezes on a hot day and where we enjoyed the 3 course in house dinner... More

Riad Ilayka is simply fantastic. Nadia, Mustafa and all the team are supremely good hosts. From a fantastic welcome (where we were met from the taxi), with a selection of divine moroccan patisseries and fresh pineapple juice we knew this would be good. Brilliantly located 5 mins walk from the Jemaa el Fna main square, this hotel hidden behind a... More

Our very friendly Ryad, a converted 14th merchant's house, was tucked away in a maze of arched alleyways called Derbs and yet so close to the main square Djema El Fna and the souks. Our bedroom, furnished in a traditional Moroccan style, opened onto a delightful enclosed courtyard with an attractive fountain, where we ate our breakfasts and dinners. We... More
