This was our second visit, and it is not going to be our last. It is excellent value for money, clean sheets and towels everyday, and for the money paid, breakfast is excellent value. The staff will do anything for you, just ask. A kettle is supplied in the room, (its normal to take your own tea and coffee),a fridge... More

This was my first time at this hotel and I was not impressed. The breakfast was bland and the same thing was served everyday, the food in the evening was appalling. There was no wifi connection in the rooms you always had to go to main reception. You had to ask to have the bed sheets changed. My own personal... More

Arrived at the hotel, staff were friendly, room and facilities were clean and hygienic. Breakfast is behind honest bland and dry but it's ok for maybe two days... There isn't much for choice, so I suggest you eat out as there are some top quality french restaurants nearby. Pool - was ok to swim in could do with a clean... More

I have enjoyed staying in this Hotel over a few years. The Reception staff, are friendly and helpful, and speak good English. The hotel is very clean throughout. The rooms are modern and convenient, the beds changed daily, and towels also. The pool area, although smallish is comfortable, and family's can enjoy the peace and quiet of Gueliz. I would... More

After reading all these bad reviews expected it to be terrible. It's in a really good location: close to the train station, which is good for day trips to essauria with supratours, close to all the guide book reccomended restraunts, i.e kechmara, al fasia the loft, a 20 min walk or 20dh taxi ride to the souks and theres acima... Stayed here for 7 days, the hotel is obviously a little worn, the showers were temperamental, but this is Africa, bear in mind how little of its population actally have running water at all, and cut them some slack. The hotel is in a fairly quiet street next to a great ice cream parlour, not a long walk from a... More

We stayed over Xmas holidays from the 21th of December2012 till the 3rd of January 2013.The only saving grace was the people on the reception who were very helpful and tried their best to be accommodating under the circumstances. We managed to have hot water once. They moved us to another room which they promised the water situation was better but to... If you love staying near the Souk dont stay here. The best thing about this hotel is that it is not in the Souk, which personally I do not like: I dont like being aggressively accosted by people to buy things or have them follow you around if they dont, or have them demand that you pay them money when... Just to say all fine here - having travelled throughout Morocco I am perhaps more experienced in terms of expecting Moroccan hotels to be very basic and not as well maintained as European hotels. People need to remember that most moroccans are very poorly paid, and it is a very different culture. I'm not sure why people expect things like... More
