So far we seem to be having great success with our choice of accommodations in Morocco. Riad El Faran was no exception and deserves a much higher ranking that is currently shown. Set off in a quiet part of the medina, it provides total comfort with easy, mostly walkable, access to the top attractions of Marrakesh. If you contact this... More

Positives- welcomed with transfer pick ups&greeting from the parking with short walk to Riad. We were greeted by Rashan (hope this is correct saying) &his wife who were always smiling, friendly&welcoming. They spoke little English, therefore we mainly communicated with nods&gestures, but we got by. Had no official greeting from the manager? Unlike all the other reviews. I think we... More

This Riad is a little gem hidden inside the enchanting medina of Marrakech. Although navigating your way to the Riad could initially be a bit of a challenge, after a while, when you have found your markers and signs, you will truly enjoy walking through the narrow streets of this old medina. Upon our entry, we received a warm welcome... More

I stayed 3 nights in this Riad and it is simply perfection. The place is beautiful and a little heaven in the middle of the Medina. You are walking distance to all important sites in Marrakesh. The staff is really the very best, the food is outstanding and breakfast is very generous. The setting is simply excellent, overall an amazing... More

Couldn't recommend the Riad or staff highly enough. It's a beautiful place, good breakfasts and really nice and helpful staff. It's well located for ease of access to airport as well as being in the medina and within walking distance of the attractions etc.

We have just returned from an amazing 9 nights at Riad El Faran! Before we even arrived the communication with Morad, the manager, was excellent. Morad organised our transfers to and from the airport for free and even met us there when we arrived and carried my bags! The Riad is about 15 minutes walk from Jamaa el Fna. Morad... More

We stumbled across this Riad after the one which we had booked fell through and we felt very lucky to have found this gem! Very reasonably priced and the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. Definitely an oasis of calm in a hectic city - very quiet and relaxing ambiance; lovely cooling plunge pool, nice roof terrace. The... More

A great riad inside the old town about 15 minutes walk to the main square. The staff were incredibly helpful speaking fluent English organising an in-house cooking course with the sweet lady who runs the kitchen, massages and a shopping tour. The staff even took us shopping guiding us through the markets - no doubt they got some kickbacks from... More

Beautiful riad inside the old city. 2.5 km walk from Jamaa el Fna. Super quiet, cool plunge pool, huge room, lovely furnishings, greqt value. A godsend after a day of sensory overload in Marrakech. The manager speaks English and French fluently and helped us to book two wonderful tours in 5 minutes (we had spent hours trying to call and... More

We stayed here for two nights, and really enjoyed the welcome from Alain (who collected us at the train station) and also all of the staff who were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. We ate one night in the riad, and the cooking was v good. We were given very clear instructions for navigating the medina (the... More
