We chose this place because we wanted to try the ' Riad experience ' in the medina ( walled old town ) rather than the blander offerings of the modern hotels in the new town of Gueliz , outside the walls ( having been there , frankly they look pretty unappealing except maybe at the very high end ) .... more

We enjoyed a few days with Peter, Hassan and Fatima for my husband's 60th birthday. The welcome was wonderful and everybody exceeded our expectations. The riad is very cosy and homely with a wealth of personal touches. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED more

Everything the other reviews have mentioned are absolutely true. You couldn't find a better place to stay in Marrakesh. It's well located; a close walk through the medina to all the major sites and souks.
