Went in Feb 2011 and had a great time at this very well kept riad. This riad has a real family feel to it in the heart of Marrakech, and is nice and calm just away from the bustle of the souks. It was very clean, comfortable and homely…and would recommend staying in a riad for the real Marrakech experience... More

As a solo traveler I was a little concerned about staying at a Riad. I thought I would be odd man out in a house full of couples. But the staff at Dar Zaman were outstanding at making me feel comfortable. Kabira, the cook makes an amazing tagine (the best meal I had in Marrakech!) and wonderful breakfasts, not to... More

Our 4 night stay in January 2012 was exactly as we'd hoped, based on previous reviews of Dar Zaman. We found Peter and his staff Kabira, Aschraf and Anouar generous with their time, delightful company and always prepared to help with our many questions. Dinner in the Dar was excellent, as was doing a cookery class which included an entertaining... More

My son and I stayed at Riad Dar Zaman in January. The room was large and very well-kept, the staff superb and helpful, the food was superb and the value for money is unbeatable. Be up on the rooftop terrace in time for the evening call to prayer from the nearby minaret. The amplified voices of a dozen holy men... More

We visited the Riad a while ago, but we cannot forget the great hospitality that was offered to us, the excellent breakfast and the Morocan-style bedroom. The room was a bit smaller than expected but the view to the city was perfect (we had the terrace room). You may need to bribe a few morocan boys to get you to... More

Riad Dar Zaman is a beautiful oasis in the heart of Marrakesh madness. Amazing staff, delicious breakfast and the owner, Peter is really helpful and generous with advice for getting the most out of your time in Marrakesh. More

We recently got back from a lovely stay at Dar Zaman: great location, food and service! The riad is really comfortable and smartly furnished; staff are very warm, friendly and helpful. We anticipated the riads to be impossible to find but Dar Zaman is a 2 minute walk from a taxi drop-off point on the edge of the medina which... More

We were in Marrakech for the first time last March and had a wonderful time. The Medina was hectic but very interesting. Certainly a different way of life to what we are used to. The Riad was excellent with Peter and his staff being very friendly and helpful. We ate in the Riad once and the food was very good.... More

This was a great Riad to stay in. Peter (the owner) as well as Asraf, Anour and Melinka really went out of their way to ensure we had a great time by showing us around, suggesting restaurants and places to visit, being flexible with breakfast, arranging trains, taxis, and bus tickets, etc. We also had a great massage at the...
