We stayed here for 2 nights as part of a round trip. It is a really great riad, with nice, morrocan-style rooms and a lovely terrasse that we had almost to ourselves. Breakfest was served on the terrasse and was also very tasty. The riad is located very centrally, so we could easily walk around the Medina. We did have... More

I was transferred to this Riad from another with no explanation. But I did not complain because once I walked in I saw how quaint and beautiful it was. The room was quite small but the details were amazing: the painted cedar roof, the decoration in the window, the creative headboard which I shall be copying in my home. I... More

Excellent service at this friendly and good value hotel in the heart of the Medina of Marrakech. Not super luxury but not sold as such. Nevertheless it is very comfortable, great breakfasts and nothing seems too much trouble for the staff. We were a group of 16 (8 couples) and stayed for 3 nights. Would certainly use this hotel again.

I can’t imagine a nicer place than this to stay in central Marrakech. It’s situated in the corner of a relatively quiet small ‘square’ and yet only five minutes walk from Djemaa el-Fna. The staff are extremely helpful and flexible (we arrived at 3am and were still warmly greeted!). It’s an attractive traditional riad with original features and a palm... More

The owner does anything possible to make your stay worthwhile. We arrived early in the morning (8AM), and he offered us an extra breakfast for free. Similar, we returned to our room for a while during the afternoon, and he told that we could get tea or orange juice, free again. The whole riad is clean and well maintained, it... More

I was back again, greeted like a long lost friend, everything was done to make me feel welcome. I had reserved the suite which is enormous (with a very small bathroom!) so my friend, who was next door, and I had a lovely area to sit with our tea - we had to spend quite a lot of time in... More

After visiting Riad Celia last January i came back again in March. This time with 7 of my travelling friends. We decided to book Riad Celia for its good location and pleasant staff. From experience we know that our guides need to park their cars and this is easy at the Bahia Parking. Unfortunately i never got to meet Samira... More

We (three girls) stayed in the RIAD CELIA in March 2012. It was really a wunderful riad: nice staff, clean rooms, nice terrace, cool patio, great location. It is close from the Jemma El Fna (5 minutes walk) but really quiet. We loved the place and will come back, should we be in Marrakesch again. Nevertheless, the pillows were a little... More

Riad Celia is in an almost quiet spot set just a few minutes walk from the traditional markets in Jemaa El Fna. The rooms, although not modern by any standards, were very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Tea seemed to have been included in the price as we never paid for it. Highly recommended!

I have just come back from a fabulous holiday with my family (hubby and 2 kids) in Essaouira. We decided to leave Essaouira one day earlier to spend our last evening in Marrakech. We travelled by car so it was an easy decision. I rang Riad Celia to enquire about availability and we were offered the grand suite for a... More
