We stayed for one week in Marrakech with Yvon and Khadija in their beautiful hotel "Dar Ouladna". It was our first time visiting Africa. Altogether it was u unforgettable trip. We had a wonderful morocan room with terrace and directly entrance to the swimming-pool and a garden. From the beginning to the end we had spent a lot of time... more

This was our first visit to Marrakech, we really enjoyed the City and would love to go back again, but would not recommed this hotel. The hotel is on the very edge of the city, the owners are happy to organise taxi's (which we got the impression they received commission). A couple of taxi fare's a day can soon mount... more

Staying at Dar Ouladna was one of the most awkward experiences I've ever had in my many years of traveling. First, the house was so far away that taxis took forever to find it. It ended up costing us more in taxi fares than it would have if we had chosen a more expensive place in the city center. Second,... more

Yvon, the owner, picked us up at the airport and took care of us durcing our 5 days stay. We were the only guests at that time of year, but never felt to be "unwelcome" to the opposite, we felt from minute one to be well taken care of. The experience other commentators had, is for us not understandable, especially... more

Whilst being a really nice play to stay this hotel has problems-the staff. While the waitors will do everything for you, the people running the hotel will treat you as a joke. When we came to add our bill 20 euros were added for their laterooms fees (we had to pay!) and then 5% of the bill was added for... more

We arrived at 10AM on Easter Holiday weekend to find that the hotel was overbooked. The owner took us to a sister property--Villa Guest. We were pleased with our experience at Villa Guest and have no complaints there--the staff were helpful, the food was okay (if the breakfast was a bit starchy), the orange juice was great. Luckily, they had... more

We didn't actually stay at the Dar Ouladna, but our experiences there are worth noting. We had booked for three nights at Easter, but were already staying in Marrakech prior to this. I took a taxi to look at the hotel prior to moving in. The likeable, but scatty Moroccan owner had no idea myself and my young family were... more

This was our first visit to Morroco - and proved to be a most enjoyable experience. Dar Ouladna is a family run establishment, owned by Ivan (a French ex-patriate) and his charming wife Khadija. Ivan - whose English is excellent - was always on hand to give us friendly guidance on how to get the most out of our holiday... more

We needed a quiet and peaceful holiday with no long haul flights or major time zone differences but with guaranteed good weather. We booked the holiday all on line and got really lucky with our choice of Riad. Wonderful welcome, great property and the best people. We have already re-booked for a week in September more
