Riad Chergui is one of the nicest places I've ever stayed. It offers the perfect backdrop to the excitement and hustle of the alleyways of Marrakech. But best of all were the staff who were so friendly and helpful (even escorting me to a pharmacy very early one morning!) I'd go back there in a second!

This riad is lovely. It's only a quick 10-15 minute to the Jaama square. Breakfast is lush, dinner I wasn't so bothered about. It wasn't bad but wasn't amazing - average is the best description. We got a free upgrade and the room was lovely. Very clean and had everything we needed. Pool area was clean with a decent size... More

Marrakech...city of lies and deceit. It's hectic and hot and your chances of being conned and harassed are high but this Riad was like another world amongst the chaos of the Medina. The lamb tangine I had here was the best I had in Morocco (and I tried a few) by far. The people who work there were just lovely... More

I honestly have to stay that this is one of the best places I've ever stayed. It's a beautiful building, just as one imagines a riad to be, and the facilities are very good. It's really well located near the souks and only 10 minutes from the main square yet it's tranquil and relaxing. The staff are superb and the... More

This is a delightful place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Perfectly situated in the Medina just 5 minutes walk from the souks and 10-15 min from the main square. Our room was large and really comfortable, overlooking the courtyard pool. The outside space is brilliant - either in the shade around the pool or in... More

We've just returned from a week in Marrakech where we spent our first 3 nights here. After a long journey from Luton with the notorious Ryan Air we were thrilled to see that Riad Chergui is even more delightful in person than it looked when we booked online. Ahead of our visit they'd got in touch to offer us a... More

My wife and I spent 4 days there last September and we simply loved it. The beds were so comfortable, the service welcoming, the bathrooms flawless and the countless nooks to read or take a nap so beautiful. In the heart of the Medina, it is an oasis in a magical world and a bargain for all that you get.... More

I first stayed at Riad Chergui in July 2011 on a side trip from some business. I am happy to say that my stay this July, two years later, was just as great. Even better really. I brought my 18-year old son and his reaction was just as mine was in 2011, the Riad is jaw-dropping beautiful. Sabine is a... More
