Dar Fakir is simply a wonderful place to stay. Discreetly located at the end of a quiet alley you have all of the peace and tranquility that your heart could desire. Now I'm a girl that simply adores colour and I usually choose colourful riads but at Dar Fakir colour is not of the essence. However, beautiful ethereal billowing curtains,... More

Hello, we can't wait to have you back. Everything is ready for your arrival. See you very soon. By the way the sun is shining so the flip flops should be packed although it is December. More

I stayed here on a business trip together with 9 colleagues. We rented the whole riad and we were all more than pleased with the stay. Beautiful rooms, quiet and relaxing ambiance and wonderful staff! Located really close to Djeema el Fna and the souk. Stay at riad dar fakir, you wont regret it!

Hello Mika, it was a real pleasure to have such a wonderful group stay with us. I glad that you could run your business meeting from the riad and still found time to explore the souks and surroundings of Marrakech. I enjoyed hearing about the adventures from the group that headed up to Imlil on our excursion. You are welcome... More

We stayed in Dar Fakir recently for five nights. It was truly an oasis from the madness outside its walls and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had dinner there on two evenings, which was beautifully cooked, and we all looked forward to breakfast each morning, with delicious pancakes and honey, pastries and breads with the most fabulous orange juice... We stayed here for 3 nights with our infant. The Riad is very charming and the common areas have been done very well. The roof top breakfast area was also nicely done. Kerstin, the Director was great and helpful. She arranged for a taxi to meet us at the station. The room was a little small and the staff (other... More

A very beautiful riad, all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were looking for a riad that felt moroccan and were not disappointed. The breakfast was great. very close to the centre but still quiet. Kirsten was great in sorting restaurant reservations and train times. We had dinner there the frist night and it was a beautiful setting... More

My time in Marrakech was perfect, in great part because of our stay at Dar Fakir. Kirsten Brand, Director and Nordine Fakir, owner, along with the entire staff at Dar Fakir put great priority on making their guests’ stay not only comfortable but creating an entire Moroccan experience. The riad is beautiful, comfortable and immaculate. The photos on the website... More

Ann, it was a real was a real pleasure having you and your mother as our guests. It's always great to see when people are satisfied at the end of their stay and leave having caught the "souk bug". We look forward to welcoming you again in the future. More

Our stay at Dar Fakir was great! The place is beautiful and Kerstin the manager was sooo welcoming and helpful. She gave us a brilliant map and marked out the things we should see and do during our stay, which meant we didn't get too lost in the medinas. We'd really recommend Dar Fakir, which is so peaceful after a... More

I greatly enjoyed my stay at dar Fakir which came at a dificult time and was not without drama. The Riad is quiet and relaxing, Kerstin and the staff exceptionally hospitable and understanding. The rooms are beautifully decorated very comfortable and the bed linen what you hope for after a long day out. I think the connecion with both L'Avenue... More

A beautiful, peaceful riad run by the kindest staff and brilliant Kerstin who is British and a Morocco aficiando. Total relaxation in the heart of Marrakesh.

A stunning property really close to the square, tucked away from the lovable chaos this remarkable little gem is a cool oasis of calm and tranquility.
