Decent riad, but could find the same thing for a lot cheaper (€80 per night, we learned, is standard). The staff are very nice and very helpful, but one night we overheard the manager (an english (?) woman) scolding and firing a night staff from my room on the ground floor. She never went out of her way to help... More

Thank you for your feedback. We are surprised to hear that you found the room very small considering you were staying in the downstairs room, a suite, where the room and bathroom are almost of equal size. Our general feedback is that especially the size of the bathroom impresses guests. We provide the same service to all of our guests.... More

Excellent location, excellent rooms, very good breakfast, very good service. Breakfast was simple but nice, tea on arrival and very attentive throughout our stay. Was very quiet though, very few rooms occupied during our stay but would highly recommend this.

We had an incredible stay at Dar Fakir. When you step into the main courtyard from the alley, you are enveloped by soothing music, candle light, tables set with white tablecloths. It feels as if you have been dropped inside the lamp of a magic genie. The staff could not have been more helpful with practical, critical advice that made... More

Airport pickup and drop off. Breakfast is included and dinner can be prearranged for not much more. I can't say much more about the hospitality and customer service other than it's impeccable. The second you book with them, you'll be in communication with them about your flights and what services they offer. It's more than I can say about a... More

We only stayed here for one night and got an airport transfer booked via Dar Fakir, definitely get a baggage porter to show you to the Riad, as for the first time it will be hard to find, but once there you'll have the route memorised. The alley may startle some at first, but it is perfectly safe and commonplace... More

this riad became our sanctuary from the high intensity sights, sounds, smells of marrakech. the riad is tranquil, the common spaces are comfortable and cute, make sure to spend some time in the rooftop. the lack of door between the bedroom and the bathroom may be off-putting for some, but we found the rooms to be clean, comfortable, and well... Myself and my partner ventured out to Marrakech at the start of October, perfect time to go as the intense summer sun is starting to relent a little and becomes bearable. A comfortable 35 degrees on average for us which meant we were able to explore the medina, the souks or ever kick back and sunbathe. We struck lucky too... More

Our stay at Dar Fakir was truly amazing, the room and bathroom were luxorious and the location was perfect for us to explore Marrakech. The staff were very attentive and in the evening the place was truely magical.

We stayed at Dar Fakir for three nights in August 2014. It was one of the most beautiful places we ever stayed it - really stunning and full of character. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Next time we go back to Marrakech we will definitely stay at Dar Fakir.

I stayed at the Riad Dar Fakir for 4 nights. What a beautiful and magical place! The location is perfect on a quiet street, in a few minutes you can walk to Jemaa el Fna. All of staff are lovely and helpful. Christine is so helpful in many ways and arranged for me a wonderful trip to the desert, which... More
