Once you've realised that the best hotels are down little wiggly streets, this just has to be a great place to stay. Plentiful breakfasts and a couple of good dinners combined with a quiet atmosphere meant this came well up to expectations. has the feeling of a traditional house where it's a privilege to stay. At the south end of... More

Based on our highly enjoyable 6-night stay we would thoroughly recommend the Riad Alma. It is perfectly located as a starting point for visiting the city sights, and far enough away to provide a peaceful retreat. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the owner and her staff simply could not have been more helpful: Mourad and his team - Rachida,... More

We spent 4 nights at the Riad Alma - this is a beautifully decorated traditional Riad in a great location situated in the south of the old town - just off the hustle of the main streets of Marrakech, this could be a 5 start hotel located in any other parts of the world - the service was also absolutely... The experience is delightful and charming from start to finish. The staff are very welcoming and the rooms are individually decorated in traditional style. A little tricky to find, but it's in a quiet location and like a little oasis of calm.

We spent ten wonderful days in Marrakech. Had prebooked our stay at Riad Alma and it was just great. Personal service, very friendly staff. Clean, good food. Because there are only a few rooms this place is never crowded, quiet and the perfect place to relax. They have a roof terrasse where you can enjoy the sun. This is not... More

Marrakech is a busy and vibrant city! This Riad which is tucked quietly away in the southern end of the old town in the Kasbah region is a delight. The staff are welcoming and make you feel at home from the minute you arrive. We met like minded people who were also staying and often ended up socialising in the... More

This was fantastic from start to finish. If you organise with the Riad a taxi from the airport Morad will meet you and walk you to the Riad so no trouble finding them. Then he will sit you down with a cup mint tea and run through where you are and where to go. The stay was incredible. The owner... More

We stayed 2 nights at the end of April/May and it was our first time in Marrakech to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.
