We'd never been to Marrakech before, my wife and me. We were stealing away for three nights, having left the kids with the grandparents. My wife in particular was a little worried we weren't staying in a hotel. But the experience just couldn't have been better, mostly thanks to the wonderful hospitality from our host, Simo. The basics were all... More

We could not purchase Moroccan Dirhams outside Morocco in the UK so after emailing Antoine and Simo at the Riad we established the ATM at the airport would not give us the best exchange rate so we should wait until after arrival and they would show us a better ATM. We arrived at the Riad Limouna in our pre-arranged air-conditioned... More

Simo was such an excellent host. His concern and care are genuine and personal. (Some places you stay the staff provide excellent service but it feels professional not personal.) We felt like adopted members of Simo's family - in the best way. He took time and attention everyday to help us plan what to do, where to go, how to... More

Even before arriving at the Riad the correspondence was great, I talked on email with Antoine and he was always quick to respond. Unfortunately Antoine wasn't there when we arrived but Simo was a wonderful host. On the first night of arriving he walked us to the main square (5min walk) and made sure we knew how to get there... Thank you very much for your comments all the staff and Simo was enjoy to read that you enjoy your stay at Riad Limouna. Just one precision about the door between bedroom and bathroom; i 'm happy to tell you that now 4 rooms on 5 have a real door to separate bathroom and bedroom and at this end of... More

My wife bought me a a four night stay at the Limouna for my birthday. We travelled with our eight year old son and this was our first visit to Marrakech. The Riad is situated a short walk from the main square. The Riad is beautiful inside and has five rooms in total. It also has a small pool which... More

We stayed 4 nights at Riad Limouna and never tired of it's beauty and tranquility; it's such a haven in the busy streets or Marrakesh and suitably located with a 10 min walk to the main square and 20 min walk to the Kasbah area for the Badi Palace and the tombs. The staff are absolutely wonderful - there is... More

You walk off the busy, dusty streets of the Medina into this beautiful, calm Oasis. Captures the true beauty of Morroccan decor in the courtyard. You are 3 mins away from the main square. The host Simo will pop out of nowhere whenever you need him and go above and beyond to be helpful. You can chill out in the partner... More

I must share my wonderful experience at Riad Limouna. I had arrived from Lisbon where I had stayed at a 4 star hotel that did not compared to the warm welcome hospitality that I received the moment the door opened at the Riad. I was greeted by Simo with a warm smile asking me how my trip was, the fact... More

We went to marrakech after a few days in Fes. Simo is a very warm and friendly person who is more than willing to help with any and everything you could possibly need. Though it was 'Ramadan' and he was fasting, he made us feel at home, ensuring our breakfast and mint tea was always there when we wanted it!... More

We spent the first three nights of our holidays in Morocco at Riad Limouna in Marrakech. After very helpful initial emails with Antoine & Simo we booked an airport transfer through the riad which was seamless even though our flight was late. The outside of the Riad is nothing much to look at as is often the way in Morocco... More
