Raid Altair is a beautiful Raid in the heart of Marrakesh. We decided to try a Raid rather than a hotel for a more local experience and this is certainly what we got. Raid Altair pleased us right from the start. The rooms, as can be seen on the internet, are large and very spacious, but the beauty lies in... more

Picked up from the airport even after a 3 hour delay in Casablanca. Definitely worth booking the transfer as it's not the easiest Riad to find, a good investment of €15! Riad was fantastic. Lovely rooms, friendly staff and overall a very relaxing feel to the place. An oasis of calm & cool (air-conditioning was extremely welcome) in the midst... more

Stayed 5 nights in Riad Altair and had a fab time, agreeing with the previous reviews. Our airport transfer was sorted for us by the riad so we had no problems locating it and once we were there it was easy to find again (most riads in Marreakech are tucked down little alley ways that are badly signposted so it... more

The whole riad reflects the owner's painstakingly good management. From the airport pick up to the check-out, everything went smoothly. The house keeping was perfect. It was the cleanest riad I have stayed. And not forget to mention the decor which was done with a good taste (minimal yet warm and comfortable). There is nothing more to add to all... more

Riad not easy to find. If lost better to ask a woman directions rather then a male or child as women tend not to want to charge you and are generally a more honest helper. Once inside the Riad it was so lovely, really relaxing and great hide away place. Was made to feel very welcome the minute we arrived,... more

We spent several weeks traveling around Morocco in January, and were immensely impressed with this beautiful Riad in Marrakech. The Riad itself is lovely, a wonderful combination of Moroccan tradition and great simple style. The staff were all fantastic - couldn't be more helpful and pleasant. The day and evening managers were especially knowledgeable and helpful and interesting to talk... more

We are frequent travellers and can compare places perfectly, there are not many that we can recommend except from Riad Altair It is perfectly decorated, in a minimalist Moroccan style, our room was nice and spacious, great attention to detail on all aspects, from decoration, service and personal attention. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in the door,... more
