I've never written a review before but felt compelled to after our wonderful stay at Riad Altair. The hosts - Abdel, Mohammed and Yassin (?) - were fabulous. They were attentive without being obstrusive. The house keeping staff were great too - friendly, producing gorgeous breakfasts and keeping the riad and the rooms clean. The riad was beautifully decorated and... More

Excelent choice if you're planning to stay near the Jeema el-Fna. Easy to locate, due to the excellent location, it's easy to walk to the main tourist atractions. The riad is fully renovated, the staff is very friendly and polite. Recommended! More

This place is a hidden gem. It's very good value for money with exceptionally friendly staff. We couldn't have chosen a better place for our stay in Marrakech. This riad is in Medina, only 10 minute walk from the square and perfect for getting around. It's very charming Moroccan townhouse, nicely decorated. You feel part of the culture staying here.... The design of this hotel was beautiful, we felt like in a different world. Mohammed our butler was very friendly, helpful with local knowledge and polite. Breakfast was delicious. We loved our room, spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel had a rooftop terrace with beds, we watched the stars at night after delicious dinner there (you need to book for... More

My daughter and I recently visited Marrakech for the first time and stayed 4 nights at this wonderful Riad. We loved everything about it - location was perfect as it is within the Medina giving easy access to the main attractions but once inside it was very calm and quiet. Our room on the first floor - the Isar -... More

As soon as you arrive here you just know you made the right choice! A friend and I stayed for three nights. Situated 10 minutes walk from the main square in the medina, the Riad is well appointed, very clean, with a calm and tranquil atmosphere that immediately delights. The room was spacious - with air conditioning a real bonus!.... More

We stayed for 2 nights at this riad, which is whitin the medina and near to the city centre (Pl. El Fna is just 10 minutes walking distance). Acccomodation: this riad only had 6 rooms, which make you feel like part of a family. Fully renovated house with all the your needs properly covered. Service: the service was just excelent.... More

My daughter and I stayed here for a week in August this year, during Ramadan and when the temperature was hitting 50 degrees. This was my 3rd visit to Morocco, 2nd to Marrakech and my daugher's first time. We had a brilliant time. We combined the heat and bustle of the city with a couple of days lounging by the... More

10 of us had exclusive use of the riad for 3 nights to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. The staff couldn't do enough for us and organised our airport transfers, a guided walking tour of the medina and a day trip out to the High Atlas (Ourika Valley). We were so impressed with our drivers (airport and Ourika Valley), Hassan... More
