Dar Souihla is a really lovely place. The surroundings are exactly as described on here an other sites....green, tranquil and very relaxing. So many little nooks and crannies to explore. Lots of turtles hanging around if you have the patience to look! After 4 days in the smog and madness of city, it was a really welcome break and escape.... More

worst hotel ever, is in the middle of nowhere, cost about £20 quid in taxi to medina. Doors lock at about 9, wanted to go out at 10 gates were locked no way out lights off. Had to sleep hungry, terreble people who own it, whenever i wanted something they said that they just bought it, french people i believe,... More

Just returned home after a 4 night stay in Dar Souihla, Morroco. Accomodation was fantastic, very clean villa style rooms with plenty of space. Pool and restaurant facilities excellent, and the gardens surrounding the complex were beautiful. Is quite far out from the Medina, but dont let that put you off as taxis averaged around £8. Also the owners and... More

I would highly recommend this for couples, wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main square and souks. As first time visitors to Marrakech, we found these villas and gardens a welcoming retreat for when the madness gets to much. The kitchen is open three times a day, with wine and beer also being available. The tagines... More

My girlfriend & I along with another couple stayed here for 3 nights Jan2010 & our holiday & experience of Morocco was tainted by Francois the owner & his greed & dishonesty!! We chose this hotel? as a base for the 3 night leg of our mini tour of Morocco mainly as a result of the positive reviews. However it... More

Just returned from our stay at Dar Souihla. I can highly recommend this hotel, for any first time visitors to Morocco or Marrakech. Although outside the city, the hotel is peaceful and well run. But english speakers should remember that French is spoken here, although Cedric (who is the son of Gerard and his wife) speaks english and can advise... More

I would strongly recommend anyone to stay in this Eden Garden. A great place to relax after visiting the Souk of Marrakech. I would like to say that anyone who have a complaint about this place should never going back to Marocco. If you want to stay in a porsh hotel then go in a porsh hotel.... It was a... More

My wife and I just spent four nights at the Dar Souihla. The reason for the trip was to celebrate thirty years together, so the quiet location and beautiful surroundings were just what we were looking for. Cedric, his family and staff were all very welcoming and did whatever it took to make our stay memorable. Because it is such... More

We stayed here for 3 nights and at first we were impressed. Its like a beautiful little oasis in the crazy world of Marrakech. Donkey (Rikki - wacth out he bites!), tortoise, hens & cats (Rizzle is a great) Then we ventured into Marrkech The "hotel" is about 14 km out of marrakech which is way too far. You can... More

Dar Souihla is a peacuful no nonsense retreat. It is a perfect place to come and unwind without tv or mobile phones. All staff were very friendly, but you should bring a french dictionary with you just in case, if like us you're not fluent in french! The room was basic but had everything you needed and the kitchen serves... More
