We arrived at this riad after being told by our taxi driver our original one was under construction. The place itself was lovely. However on arriving at 1am on the first night we were greeted by large six legged creatures under our pillows who were not expecting us. The plunge pool is nice and cold but there are only 2... More

Travelling with a friend. Staying in Riad Dar Ressam is a wonderful experience if you really choose to stay in Marrakech and feel the ambiance of the people's everyday life. Head for the Kosey Bar for a bear or two after all that walking, it is quite hard to... More

Generally the riad is excellent, the decor is amazing and the owner Simo was adorable. The seating area on the roof however was covered in yellow stains which was explained by the strong smell of cat pee. There were also only 2 sun loungers, which would have caused some issues I imagine if the riad was at full capacity (10-12!).... More

The rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly and polite. The rooftop area was disappointing though, it was in a really bad state when we were there. Not the best location, it was extremely disturbing trying to navigate our way back to the riad at night because the little alleys to the riad were not lit. Also, be sure... More
