My husband and I spent three nights at the Dar Maison Do, a riad in the labyrinth of the Marrakesh Medina across the tiny street from the Maison Do. The riad was a quiet and beautiful respite from the hurly-burly hectic of the narrow cobblestone streets, of sellers and beggars, donkeys and motorcycles.. It is an authentic Moroccan habitation brilliantly... more

We had a wonderful visit at the Maison Do while in Marrakech for my brother's wedding. The owner of the Riad, Mme. Morin, was a delightful host and very helpful in explaining aspects of the city life we did not understand. Likewise, the many employees of the Riad were friendly and went to great lengths to make sure our stay... more

My friend and I stayed at the Riad Maison Do for 2 nights in early July 2008. The hotel itself was immaculate and very much a treat to stay in, while visiting Marrakech, but things weren't perfect, and I'll explain. First, the Riad Maison Do was hard to find in the medina, which is understandible, so that's okay. Once we... more

The Riad is about 10 minutes walk from the square and just out of the way enough so you won't be too disturbed, which is definitely a blessing as Marrakech is a bustling and hectic place. It's a small, quaint place in a very open style as most Riad's are, not the best for privacy, but I went at peak... more

If you like sleeping with cockroaches, then this riad is fine for you. We had cockroaches in our bed, on the table, on the wall, under our luggage... Guess who didn't sleep. When we asked to change the room, they refused but promised they would take care of it. The second night, it was even worse. We left the riad... more

My girlfriend and I stayed in the Riad Maison Do for three nights in April 2008. Our booking was through Venere.com and we experienced no issues. Upon our arrival in Marrakech via train, we took a taxi to the Djemaa el Fna Square, where our taxi driver located a little old man with a cart to take our luggage to... more

Spent three days at the Riad Maison Do in Marrakech. As far as we could see there was only one person working there really, Ahmed, who was EXTREMELY nice and worked very hard to get over the fact that we really couldn't speak any of the same languages. We would highly recommend asking for the airport shuttle - our flight... more

We stayed here for three nights in April 2007. The Maison Do is an excellent Riad in terms of cleanliness, price, decor, comfort and friendly staff. The reception and dining areas are inviting. Our room was beautifully decorated with a very comfy bed, good quality linen, furnishings and an attractive bathroom with a huge shower. The Riad is very tranquil... more

My Aunt booked a three night stay in Maison Do for myself, my brother and our father for his 60th Birthday celebrations. Luckily our taxi driver went as close to the Riad as possible, and our cases were carried to the front door - for a small tip - by a group of young boys playing in the street! Even... more

At first it is very difficult to find - we arrived at night and the taxi driver didn't help us very much. After a couple of turns we arrive at the door of the Riad. It is a beautiful, well mantained Riad. The people who work there were friendly and helpful with comments regarding the city. The breakfast at the... more
