What a truly pleasant surprise and the best city break I have been on. We had never visited Marrakech before and I'm so pleased we stayed here. Once you walked through the busy streets you arrived to the riad where there was peace and tranquility. Our room was at the top on the roof terrace and we can well recommend... More

Walking through the hustle & bustle of Marrakech, it was a contrast to enter, down a few side roads, this beautifully calm riad, our home for 5 nights & to celebrate New Year. As we settled down to a mint tea, one of the owners, Michael, proceeded to detail the main sights on a map and generally ensure we had... More

We couldn't have asked for a nicer place and nicer staff. It was a great place to stay on our trip to Morocco (and the best place we stayed the entire trip). The Riad was very nice and very quiet, but it was also right in the middle of everything, so a perfect combination. But the thing that really makes... More

We spent 2 nights in Marrakech Riad Al Massarah and it was an excellent staff. The riad's location is perfect and it is beautiful with a lovely leafy courtyard and excellent roof terrace (perfect for breakfast in the sun). Our room was lovely - very romantic with some lovely features (fireplace, wall of marble). We also had dinner there on... More

We stayed four nights in the rooftop room in late October. From the moment we were picked up from the airport to the moment we left, Michael, Michel and David, plus all their delightful staff, could not have been more friendly or helpful. Their local knowledge is amazing. Located in the medina, we never once felt unsafe, even when returning... More

We loved our stay in the riad. David, Michel and Micheal were very helpful and always happy to give advice and make recommendations. The breakfast was amazing, we particularly loved the French toast. All of the staff were so friendly. The riad was the perfect place to relax after the hussle and bustle of the medina. There were plenty of... More

really lovely place, located about ten minutes walk north of jem el fna square. right in the heart of bab doukkoula which is buzzing, local and authentically marrakech but perfectly safe. stylish and cool lower courtyard (both temperature-wise and aesthetically) with a little library room, small dining area and hamman plus plunge pool. great rooftop terrace for breakfast (or a... We stayed 4 nights in the room Violine and found everything to be perfect. As previous reviewers have mentioned, Michael, Michele, David and the staff of this Riad are really helpful and friendly and do everything to make your stay memorable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone planning a trip to Marrakech. Squeaky clean, nice food, friendly and efficient... More

We were not sure what to expect when we approached the Riad through the rather filthy souks, but were extremely pleased when David opened the door and we entered a different world. We can only recommend Al Massarah for its tranquil atmosphere with authentically restored design, the attentive yet discret service and the friendliness of the host. We were not... More
