Our first visit to Marrakech took a lot of organising, and thankfully we chose the right hotel, I had many questions from the outset and Riad El Mansour always answered my emails quickly and gave me all the information that I requested, they booked restaurants ahead of time, they booked train tickets to go to Casablanca, and they met us... Dear Mark, Thank you for the review, it is great to hear such positive feedback from real guests that stayed with us. We very much pride ourselves on our staff at Riad El Mansour, and most of them have been with us since we first opened over 8 years ago. Thank you for recommending your friends to stay with us,... It felt like a real treat arriving here and just what I wanted. I chose it for the location and the extra spa facilities which I loved loved loved! The guys who run it really know how to make you feel welcome, which is especially important when travelling alone. I like to be left alone once I'm settled but at... More

So good to see a perfect review! Thank you Geoffrey. Marrakech is a great place to explore alone, so much to see and so many places to get lost. The smells, the noise, the sights, the colours, it has it all. Our in house Hammam and Massage room are popular and most of our guests use them rather than travelling... More

Have just returned from another enjoyable trip. Standards are as high as ever. A real gem - where attention to detail really shows.Lots of character and spotlessly clean. Excellent service. Would highly recommend

Suzy, thank you for the review. I am pleased we met your expectations again. As the owner was a former Butler at some of the finest houses in UK, he has always tried to do things slightly better than all the other Riads, and train the staff to be approachable and friendly, but not too 'in your face' It seems... This is our second visit to riad El mansour and we think it is even better than our first. We sort of knew what to expect and they did not let us down in either quality or service, but what set it apart this time was that the neighbourhood just got a new restaurant that is absolutely delightful, called latitude.... Dear Des, Thank you for the charming review left for us! The staff were particularly pleased to see you again! I think, (Or I hope you meant!) Cold towels to wipe your brow as you entered! We do take pride in our in house cooking, and Latifa is pleased to cook anything Moroccan, she does not understand British food though!... More

This place is a little treasure trove. Right in the centre, through spaghetti lanes it dwells in a small corner, that you would overlook on any normal day. Opening the door you are greeted with friendly staff, plunge pool (this one is amazing under the sun) alcoves to sit in, and gorgeous rooms and furnishings. I can't say enough about... More

Such a good review! Many thanks for taking the time to leave us one. It is strange you call it a 'treasure trove' as the locals believe that there is treasure hidden in the Riad in the lounge! It was supposedly been buried there to ward off evil spirits, outside the front door of the road, there appears to be... More

Always a pleasure to return as you know what to expect and the staff know your name. But even as a new guest this Riad will delight from the lovely roof terrace, we had amazing weather almost too hot ( but the staff were fab with cooling -- the best orange juice ever ) > to the rooms that are... Thank you for your return visit Jeremy. we are so pleased you stayed with us for your 2nd visit to Marrakech! You sound very pleased, and I hope that your 3rd visit happens soon! This Riad and indeed Marrakech is the perfect spot to relax - and its such a seductive combination. Marrakech so near yet so different - the heat and of course Riad El Mansour and all its joy. Cheap flights allow you to revisit ( gosh I have spent more on lunch for 2 a Cafe Murano !) and Riad is... More

Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive review! Marrakech is as you say, only a 2 hour flight from UK, so near, but Marrakech is so exotic and different from most of the UK! If you do return to us again in the Summer (which we hope you do!) Remember we have our special Summer... More

Staying here was a pleasant experience. The place itself is charming and the service was first-rate. I really enjoyed my breakfast on the roof terrace every morning. The location is ok but not ideal. Expect to walk for 20 min or so to get to Plaza el Fna. Unfortunately, the wifi was somewhat unstable (to be fair, other guests didn't... More

Thank you for leaving us a good review! So good to hear that you encountered first rate service! Yes, it is a 15 to 20 minute walk to Jemaa Fan Square through the souks and medina, But as all of our guests are aware, there are many other tourist sights much closer. We are located in a quiet cul de... More

Traditional Riad with beautifully designed rooms and courtyard. From the minute you arrive the staff can't do enough for you, Abdess or Wadi were always there and helped us have an amazing few days in Marrakech. Breakfast on the sun terrace was a great way to start the day and the Hammam at the Riad was a truly wonderful way... More

Thank you so much for leaving a positive review. We are staffed 24 hours a day, and there is always one of our three managers there to help and advise you. We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at this riad. It is an old building with a central courtyard and shady balconies - tiled and furnished in a traditional way. It is just inside the old city with the souks about 10 mins in one direction and the new city about 10 mins in the other. Abdess and all his... More

Roy, Thank you for leaving us a review. Many of the tiled features you mention are original and go back many years! All of our furniture is made locally, mostly from Marrakech by local tradesmen, or from Casablanca where our mattresses were hand made. We are centrally located, as you say, 10 minutes to both the new City and to... More
