From the moment you enter the Riad El Mansour the combination of beauty and calmness pervades along with the smell of scented flowers. This sensational first impression is such a welcome relief from the thrum of the outside world beyond the ancient walls of this most elegant riad. Greeted by the NEW British owner and manager Romaine, who has travelled... More

We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay at this riad. It is an old building with a central courtyard and shady balconies - tiled and furnished in a traditional way. It is just inside the old city with the souks about 10 mins in one direction and the new city about 10 mins in the other. Abdess and all his... More

We stayed at the Riad for a week and would thoroughly recommend it; it offered an oasis of calm it the midst of the bustling Medina. This was our first trip to Morocco and Abdess, Wadi and Moustaffa made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much and their help was invaluable in tips and advice on making the most... More

We stayed at the Riad Al Mansour for three days in March as a brief break to celebrate our joint birthdays. The Riad is small (only 6 rooms) and is updated from the original building, which is about 200 years (or so) old. The booking process was simple and the communications with the Riad excellent (via Abdess the manager). The... More

We just got back from a weekend in Marrakech. We loved Marrakech and even more loved the Riad El Mansour. Hospitality was exceptional and nothing and I mean nothing was too much trouble. They even called to check we had got back to the UK safely . It's romantic and beautifully decorated and after a day in the souks is... More

I stayed at the Riad in March of 2015 for 4 days and then an additional stay of one night upon returning from the desert before my flight out. The first 4 days were lovely - the riad is a quiet oasis in a very busy city, the staff was very helpful both before arriving and throughout the stay, the... More

This is a marvelous 17th/18th century riad, beautifully and authentically restored. The atmosphere is wonderful and our room was really nice but, in character, basic. This is not five star luxury but traditional, historic, comfortable and charming. The staff are lovely and want to make your time in Marrakech easy and enjoyable. Is it perfect? No, it isn't but its... More

I have just recently returned from a stay at the Riad Al Mansour and I cannot recommend this property enough! Hidden down a side street and in a dark corner I wasn't sure what to expect when we arrived. When you step through the door however it is like a different world! Beautiful traditional Moroccan architecture, very clean and with... More

After sifting through many hotels on tripadvisor, we chose Riad El Mansour. I am new to tripadvisor, and this will be my first review which is well deserved. After many exchanges of emails to make the trip to Marrakech perfect, we booked directly with the hotel sanf obtained the free airport transfers. We were met by thr hotels own driver... More

My wife and I stayed for a week at the Riad El mansour in the Medina -the old part of the city. The Riad was excellent. The rooms are comfortable and are very Moroccan in style. The staff are very friendly and will always offer advice when asked. The Riad picked us up at the airport and dropped us off... More
