You can't beat this place for the price: less than 5 minutes walk from the main square yet totally peaceful and tranquil, beautifully decorated with a perfect mix of traditional and modern, extremely welcoming and friendly (Hussain is a top guy and looked after us from start to finish - nothing is a trouble), has a stunning plant filled roof... I stayed at Riad Al Mamoune in May 2014 for three nights with a friend. I'm usually a massive hotel snob and prefer large, impersonal Hilton style hotels so I was a little concerned about staying in a Riad. I needn't have worried. We arranged a transfer from the airport (which I would definitely recommend as it would be a... More

We had a lovely stay in Marrakech at Riad Al Mamoune. The staff were extremely friendly and informative. Both Manu and Husein enjoyed a chat and were full of useful information and advice - nothing seemed to be too much trouble for either. A cold beer or glass of wine was on hand if needed as was a lovely glass... More

We loved it here. Make sure, to be picked up, because the Riad is located in the centre of the souk, no chance to find it on your own. But there was Husein, an intelligent, super friendly guy, we had a nice conversation with, who picked us up. The Riad is really pretty, it has an awesome roof terrace, a... More

Lovely clean rooms, bedding changed daily. Beautiful traditional architecture like the four poster beds and the arched windows. Courtyards to die for and private balconies in every room. Manu and his wife who own the riad are so very welcoming they will feel like family and Hamed the manager always knows what you want even before you open your mouth.... More

I stayed here recently with my sister-in-law for four nights and loved the Riad. The staff were all really kind and helpful, and we always felt safe and looked after, despite being right in the middle of the Medina and the markets. We were given useful safety advice right at the start of our stay by Hossain, the assistant manager.... More

Read the reviews, all of them. Those are exactly what made me make my decision and im so incredibly glad I did. Not simply based on price but much more so on comfort, location, peace, homeliness, interior and hospitality. No pretentiousness. The airport transfer made it simple as a solo traveler and a quick location guide of monuments and signs... More

Riad Al Mamoune is a charming old house a five minute walk away from Jemaa El Fna - the old square in Marrakech. The caretaker is a helpful gentleman who can come and find your if you are lost amidst the winding streets of the old city. The home cooked breakfast, especially the moroccan pancakes with marmalade on the terrace... More

Stayed here after a group tour wanting to experience a more authentic Marrakech, and Al Mamoune did not disappoint. It really is a hidden gem, as you will never find it on your own. It is small , intimate and yet finely crafted, restored and accessorised inside. From the zelig tilework to choice of furnishings, artworks and fittings, it transports... More

Look no further. I just came from Marrakech and choose this riad based on reviews. Cosy room, hot water and heat all the time. Staff very helpful and nice and comparing to other riads they speak english. Breakfast was very good and can be served either earlier if you have to leave for a trip or later if you are... More
