I wanted somewhere really special to take my sister after the death of our mother and this was everything I could have hoped for and then some. This riad is simply beautiful. It is a feast for the senses in every way, from the ornate plasterwork to the carved wood to the mosaic floor tiles to the soft night time... more

We booked an 8 night stay at the Palais Sebban to be close to the main square. We were greeted on arrival at the Airport by a very charming Chauffeur, which was arranged by the Riad's Manageress. After a short and pleasant drive we reached our destination, where another member of staff was waiting to take our luggage the 100... more

We didn't arrange a taxi from the airport in advance and so just caught one from the stand outside. We paid over the odds for our taxi. It should be about 160Dhirams plus a tip. So make sure you agree a price before getting in or get the Riad to arrange for you. As per the other reviews it is... more

The building is a gem and the staff are very friendly BUT very inefficient, sadly. We arrived late because of flight delays and the taxi we had booked with them did not arrive. We were then given the wrong rooms. I had specified twin-bedded rooms, as we were a group of friends not partners, each time I contacted both the... more

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at the Riad Seddan Palais. The Riad is indeed very beautiful, a peaceful retreat after the frantic hustle and bustle of Marrakech. However the general management of the Riad is poor, the staff, although friendly, are not particularly efficient and the standards of a so called 5 star accommodation just don't match... more

Our party of four returned last weeked having spent a week staying at the fabulous Palais Sebban. As we had booked for 7 nights we were fortunate enough to be upgraded to two luxurious suites, Berbere, with its own private terrace & fountain and Mogadar, overlooking the pool & inner courtyard. The staff are without doubt the most accommodating we... more

This Riad is a architectural gem & worth a visit just for that. The rooms are spacious & are mostly preserved in traditional style... beautiful, intricate & ornate. A very pleasant garden & a pool (unusual for the medina). The breakfast was a bit lacking & one was left with the impression that the management were just running the place... more

My wife and I were attending a conference in Marrakech and decided to bypass the larger conference hotels in favour of Palais Sebban, a small riad in the medina. The initial walk down the narrow twisting street to the hotel was a bit unnerving but its glorious decor and friendly, helpful staff (not to mention the mint tea and Moroccan... more

Tucked away in a quiet alleyway yet only minutes from the souks and main square, the Palais Sebban is a haven of peace and tranquility after the hustle and bustle of the city. The interior is a stunning refurbishment of an original palace with a beautiful flower be-decked pool and roof garden, and the setting for breakfast or dinner is... more

This place was booked for us by our tour company. The location was a bit out of the way from the Djemaa el Fna, but it must have been close to one of the more famous Marrakech restaurants (can't remember the name). I saw a small sign for the restaurant with an arrow and a man asked us if we... more
