After, reluctantly, leaving my wife and 2 young boys in a locked hire car (in an industrial part of a slum) I had to folow a clueless, agro young local for an hour to find the riad's bizzare location. To be fair the riad is beautiful. Monsieur Taylor's staff are attentive and friendly. However Taylor is probably one of the... More

The Riad has a wonderful atmosphere. The relatively large rooms are tastefully decorated. The small court yard and the roof top are great places to stay. The service from the two attendants could nor have been better. They took us on foot to remote corners of the medina, served us food late at night and breakfast on the roof top.... More

I have just re-read what this hotel offers and apart from the flat screen tv, with non-working satellite, it is a different hotel than the one I've just spent a week at! This is not a five star anything, apart from disaster area. The food is terrible, the hamman does not exist, the pool is a puddle and the owner... More

Hotel is very difficult to find in a maze of unfriendly back alleys and narrow streets. Does not feel safe at night - alleys and streets leading up to Riad poorly lit. Hotel is supposed to be 5 Star - don't make me laugh. Getting weary by end of holiday of local youths asking for money to show the way... More

We had one meal there which was vastly overpriced and not very pleasant, far better quality and value is to be had from the market stalls in the main square at a quarter of the price. The riad arranged an English speaking guide which was good but we had to endure 3 visits to shops with an agreement with the... More

Rude and unhelpful staff that are soley there to squeeze as much money out of you as possible! They pushed and pushed us to book one of their organised trips. We had already arranged trips for ourselves through tripadvisor contacts before hand so politely declined and we got an hour long speech about how we knew nothing about how things... More

In response to your comment on tripadvisor, here attached the comments you've left in the guestbook of the Riad " Amazing roof terrace and courtyard. Particularly enjoyed the one day trip around the city with the driver, Very attentive and freindly staff." In response to your various reviews that I don’t accept, the Riad Taylor offers services and high-end trips,... More

I had already read the Tripadvisor reviews before going to the Riad Taylor so I already knew that the area surrounding the Riad was a bit rough and a bit 'undesirable'. However, it was still a bit shocking when I saw it for myself! Upon leaving the airport and driving to the Riad, you immediately see the difference in your... More

We decided to go to Morocco on a two city trip, after a enjoyable trip down Agadir, we were driven to Marrakesh. By looking at the pictures on trip advisor i was under the impression i was arriving to a Grand Modern Hotel, but it was totally the opposite. Our driver drove us into a ancient part of a old... Really great Riad with massive charm. Arranged trip to Sahara which was brilliant, if in the dunes a bit cool at night.Make sure you book the transfer to the Riad with them as it can be hard to find in the Medina. More
