Visited Darhani with my daughter mid May 2011 for 4 nights/4 days - what can I say that hasn't been said before - great place to stay. We stayed in the twin room on first floor and furnishings and en-suite excellent ! Staff very friendly & helpful, and information available was excellent - Aziz was very helpful with bookings and... Darhani is the perfect place to stay within the medina of Marrakesh. It's on the edge of the medina, but is only 8 minutes walk from the main square, the Jamaa El Fna, and the walk through the small streets and souks, full of life, little shops and stalls selling food and trinkets, gives you the perfect chance to enjoy... We first stayed at Darhani in 2008 in November. Back in Marrakech this May and didn't hesitate to return to Darhani. Darhani is a lovely small but perfectly formed Riad/Dar, only 5 minutes walk from the main square. The rooms are furnished tastefully, there is a lovely roof terrace and a small pool downstairs (with fresh roses floating in it... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Darhani. Great central location - a bit tricky to find along winding alleys when you first arrive, but that means it felt nicely tucked away from the major hustle & bustle of the souks whilst still being bang in the middle of the medina. Location couldn't really be better. The riad itself is lovely... More

A very warm welcome on arrival at the the Riad. The rooms are very clean, comfortable and traditional. There is a wonderful roof gaden which is perfect for relaxing at the end of a tiring day walking through the souk and the streets of Marrakech. There is a also a plunge pool which was too cold for use at this... More

Don't be put off by the approach along unmarked alleys. However, make sure you will recognise your way back before you leave on the first day! The riad is beautifully clean and well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The riad arranged a taxi to pick us up from the airport and we pre-booked food for... More

We spent 3 nights in the mistress room at the Riad Darhani. The Riad itself was beautiful and well kept. Terrace upstairs lovely. Our room was large and the bathroom was a good size too with plenty of hot water. All the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I would advise to arrange for the pickup from the airport as... Just returned from a trip with my friend. We had the twin room which was just perfect for us. Comfy beds, very clean, lovely bathroom with plenty of hot water. Sleep interrupted by Muslim call to prayer which you would get anywhere in the city. My advice would be to take some ear plugs! We had dinner on our arrival... More

Stayed for 3 nights and could not fault a thing. Staff went out of heir way to be helpful and spoke good english. Stayed in Walnut room which although not large was perfect for a couple. Breakfast every day was different. It was like a little oasis in the middle of Marakech. Only down side and it is a tiny... More

Just returned from a 3 night stay at Darhani Riad in Marrakech. Cannot fault Darhani at all, the staff were lovely and the on site manager (Aziz) extremely helpful giving lots of advice to me and my friend who had not visited Morrocco before. The Riad was beautiful and peaceful and only 10 minute walk from the main square. Slightly... More
