As the owner of the Boutique Hotel-Casa Sweety in Cartagena Colombia, I know that it is difficult to find the right personel to run your business when you aren't there. It takes some bad experiences to find the right people, therefore my advice to you Olive; don't change your Manager! He has been very helpful and running your place during... more

My husband and I stayed in several riads around Morocco and while this wasn't our favorite, it was a good place to stay overall. Chouia Chouia is very well-located, about two minutes from the Djemaa el Fna and easy to find once you know they way. Our room was on the ground floor and was a little musty and a... more

A quiet place in the heart of Marrakech. Friendly staff, nice rooms, good breakfast, organised great sight-seeing tours outside town. We couldn't expect more. Beautiful city with many historic places to visit, somewhere in between european comfort and african exotism more

My mum and I were met at the airport as arranged and driven near to the Riad and met by a member of staff, Masoud. We were then taken through the windy streets to the Riad which isn't that difficult to find after the first trip through. It's well located near to the Koutoubia Mosque and Jemaa El Fna square... more

We had a lovely few days at this riad. We had booked the cheapest room but on our first night they gave us a bigger en-suite room (in the annexe - also very nice, with its own terace) for the same price, as the people who were in our room before us wanted to stay an extra night. Understandable when... more

We decided to stay in a traditional riad for our first trip to Morocco as opposed to a hotel and I am glad we did. The photos on this site were very realistic and there were no surprises as to what to expect. The riad is about 500 years old, and the area it is in is full of character... more

We have been 5 days in Marrakesh in 3 different Riads: Riad Eden, Riad Chouia Chouia, Riad dar Maia. We found Riad Eden and Chouia Chouia the best. Riad Eden is slightly more expensive (we paid 79Euro for Orange room but there are 2 rooms cheaper) but the service is excellent and you really feel at home. I will add... more

My mother & I stayed at this Riad in Dec for 1 week. I booked directly with the Riad web site & Olive , hotel owner responded immediately. He did not even want credit card information or any deposit. I asked for someone to meet me at the airport as I had never been to Marrakesh & recommend this as... more

My friends and I literally stumbled opon Riad Chouia Chouia, and are so thankful we did. Mosoude was above and beyond helpful, and did everything he could to make room for us even though we did not have reservations. Being in Merrekesh is all about the connections you make with other people, and the whole staff at Chouia chouia left... more

I stayed in 3 riads in Morocco during my trip, Chouia Chouia is probably the worst of the 3. Location - it is convenient, about 3-4 minutes walk to the main square, but it is not in a very nice neighbourhood, and the little alley to get in is very confusing. It is not a place you want to stay... more
