I went to Marrakech with two other girlfriends and we really struggled to find a place given the plethora of Riads on the web. We finally booked Dar Vedra and it was stunning and perfect. Sebastien and Didier run the place and are amazing. They welcome you when you arrive with a map and suggestions, then walk you around to... more

We took a lot of time researching before choosing Dar Vedra for our three night stay in Marrakech and it lived up to all our expectations. The location is perfect--in the heart of the Medina, but not smack in the middle of too much craziness. I think the fact that the riad is right next to Bab Doukkala mosque is... more

We had an enjoyable 2 night break at Dar Vedra. Warm welcome on arrival with mint tea and cookies. The courtyard area with its lush plants is absolutely stunning – a tranquil oasis. Our rooms (no. 1 & 4, I think), were spacious and comfortably furnished. Great bathrooms (super-size bath in no.1). The ground floor room did lead off the... more

From the moment we arrived we felt most welcome. Offered tea and chatted to lovely Samira (head of staff) about Marrakesh - this being our 1st visit. We had the ground floor room right by the pool. Very comfortable, spacious, bathroom with massive bath, fire place for use in the winter. No locks on the door but there is a... more

It was quite an event for me to settle on this riad, but I am incredibly happy about the decision. I had heard a lot about fake reviews through the tripadvisor boards and was therefore very worried about choosing the correct place to stay in Marrakech. I went back and forth between many different locations before finally choosing Dar Vedra.... more

We've just returned home after 10 days in Morroco, eight of which where active: learning to kite surf in Essouira (more accurately plowing furrows in the sand with my nose), and trekking in the Anti Atlas. We then spent two days of bliss at Dar Vedra in Marrakech. Buried down a side alleyway, and accessed through an improbably small door,... more

We enjoyed a wonderful week in Marrakech staying in the tranquil and very welcoming Dar Vedra. Our host Didier together with all staff were at our beck and call from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. This riad provided a peaceful stay closing the doors on a very at times chaotic Medina. Once inside it's doors you... more

In May I went to Marrakech for a few days, and I loved so much the city that I decided to come back in October to have a break in order to run away from the first cold of Europe. And this time, I booked in another Riad: DAR VEDRA. It was magical, fairy and everything was perfect. I had... more

A wonderful riad. An oasis of calm and gorgeousness! The decor is elegant. Sebastien, the co owner is fantastic-really helpful and a mine of knowledge. Add to that brilliant, friendly staff; and you may never want to leave Dar Vedra! You must have at least one meal cooked by Rachida (the in house chef), I can guarantee it will be... more
