This was my first visit to Marrakech, and I'm so glad we stayed here. Sobha and her team looked after us fantastically well, and were so kind and warm. The Riad is spacious whilst being fairly small. All guests can find privacy quite easily as there are lots of shared spaces dotted all over the place. One of my favourites... More

This is the third time that I have stayed at this beautiful, peaceful riad. Always warmly welcomed. The rooms are delightful and charming with intricate celing carving. The cool courtyards are shaded by mature orange trees and set with tables where you can enjoy a traditional evening meal or just a glass of wine. Breakfast is served on the roof... More

Stayed here for two nights on our way to the Atlas mountains. We echo all the positive comments in the other reviews about Riad Daria. Tranquil. Wonderful. Elegant. Etc. But the staff really make it a great place. They were so helpful and friendly and unobtrusive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Riad Daria is hidden in a small alley in the Kasbah district of Marrakesh and is a peaceful haven from the busy city. It is a beautiful, traditional riad with a central courtyard surrounded by delightful seating and relaxing patios in sun or shade. It is immaculately well presented, with traditional Moroccan tile work, wood carving and decoration to the very highest... More

March 2015 - I'm a week back from my four days in Marrakech, staying at Riad Daria, and every time an image of the roof terrace or the alcoves dotted around this riad, pops into my mind, my shoulders relax. Before arriving, I saw the website and thought "yeah, nice photos". The reality is far better: subtle elegance, lovely people,... More

Approaching Riad Daria via the network of alleys, we wondered what awaited, but we need not have worried. The doorway gave access to a typically Moroccan large house, centred on a beautiful courtyard which was full of perfume from its orange trees. Staff made us welcome and were very helpful. Breakfast was a delight, sat on a balcony around the... More

Down a narrow alley and hidden behind a big wooden door, lies an oasis of peace and quiet. The Riad Daria is simply lovely. Intricate carvings and mosaics, ornate furnishings and drapes , this place inspired me to make some changes to my own home...or garden at least! To step outside of your room and look up to see the... Our first trip to Morocco. We spent three nights in Riad Daria and were delighted with the experience. It is a beautiful riad and the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Breakfasts were good and plentiful and it was so nice to eat on one of the many terraces, looking at the birds. We ate in one evening and found... More

A haven of peace and quiet within the old city walls. The riad has beautifully-appointed interior spaces, extremely pleasant and helpful staff, good food and, yes, alcohol is served. We would be happy to go back any time.

Riad Daria was an inside tip from a friend who has been visiting Morocco for 30+ years. Close to the palace and within 15 mins walk of the main square, Riad Daria has the right balance of everything. Regarded as the 'safer' end of town after dark (as opposed to the Northern Medina), you'll find everything and more in and... More
