we stayed for 4 nights in a lovely riad with only 7 rooms ,just 400 metres from the major souk in the city where it all happens for the locals: the open air restaurants, water sellers, snake chamers,fortune tellers, toothpullers(dentists) ,story tellers, male dancers, over loaded donkeys , manic scooter traffic , orange stalls, toy trains with george bush chasing... more

Marrakech is hectic, noisy, colourful, loud and teeming with people, donkey carts, hand carts and mopeds.
