We spent 4 nights here in May 2015. What can I say, just beautiful, film set faded moroccan glamour. This place has it's original features. It provides a haven of tranquil calm and beauty after spending time in the Souks and fabulous madness of the Medina. The staff are helpful, friendly and true professionals . Located in the perfect location.... More

We were staying in a riad without a pool so it was wonderful to spend the day at Palais Donab for just 120 dirham. We were provided with sunbeds and lazed by the pool. Great lunch and awesome mojitos plus really friendly staff .

I am torn about writing this review. I want to sing its praises but want to keep it all a secret! It's amazing, beautiful and fabulous all in one. Walk out the front door straight into the Souks. We were there for 5 days saw the Jardin Majorelle...... A must see, amazing colour. A day in the Atlas Mountains, walked... More

While in Marrakech, we stayed at a lovely riad down the street from Palais Donab. Although we didn't stay here, we did eat three times during our stay and enjoyed the food, wine, and atmosphere of the indoor and outdoor dining. A truly wonderful oasis in the medina that was a welcomed respite after a day haggling in the souks.... More

Finally after three times of passing we ventured through the big wooden doors to be greeted by a beautiful oasis. Sadly we were not staying but decided to make it our local go to bar for a cold drink and some peace and quiet after the souks. Lunch I decided to follow a French lady on a table near us... More

We stayed in Yasmine suite for 4 nights as it was the venue for a friend's party. The suite was spacious, with a private terrace. All the staff were friendly and helpful, with some nice extra kindness. Both the indoor and outdoor restaurants are excellent. We couldn't believe how tranquil it was. A haven of calm. The party was fabulous... More

We dropped in here for a spot of lunch after our first proper day adventuring around the maze; a welcome counterpoint to the mayhem of the souks. Obviously quite an upmarket place but pretty reasonable for lunch. A really lovely, tranquil courtyard with beautiful tiled pool surrounded by fruit trees. Has the feel of a moroccan themed european boutique hotel,... More

Nice location, clean and big room. Very friendly people and great service. Beautiful Riad with a nice traditional and affordable restaurant. The view of the Atlas mountain from the roof on a sunny day is the best i have seen in Marrakech. Would have liked a little more privacy instead of having the main door always open but there is... A few years ago I was asked to sing at a party at Dar Donab. I was so enchanted I swore one day I would come and stay. When the occasion arose to return to Marrakech, I booked it immediately for myself and two others, but when we arrived my heart just sank. I was mortified to see the once... More

Not too far into the Medina, just 50 yds from the nearest point of access for taxis. Very smart restaurant with good food, particularly if you are a meat eater. Some vegi dishes were available. Very good and reasonable - £12 -bottles of wine available. Room had a heater which was very necessary as it turned quite cold on our... More
