What a beautiful riad and hospitality that could not be faulted. The riad itself was beautifully restored and the breakfast and optional evening meal excellent. The roof garden is a lovely addition to the property - somewhere to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the day. Location wise it has the best of all worlds - in the... more

My husband and I spent 5 nights in Marrakesh, the first night in Dar Taliwint and the rest of the nights in another riad. We returned to Dar Taliwint for the last 2 nights, despite having to cough up a cancellation fee at the other place because Dar Taliwint was just that good. Our flight in was delayed by 4... more

Dar Taliwant is a lovely, quiet sanctuary in the heart of the old city. Step out of a small dusty alleyway and into a beautiful paradise. This riad is by far the best deal in all of Marrakech, combining a good price with gorgeous architecture, thoughtful and complete service, and a great location. The most striking aspect of the Riad... more

It is hard to know where to start when speaking of Dar Taliwint: we spent 5 amazing days there and everything was wonderful: the superb decoration of this old typical house, the comfort and the cleanliness, the calm (an oasis of calm actually in the busy Medina), the delightful patio and the roof terrace with its stunning view of Marrakech... more

A beautifull home away from home. Down an remarkable alley behind an unmarked door lies an oasis of calm. We were met with smiles and mint tea in the courtyard and given the perfect introduction to marrakech. Our room was beautifull - with an amazing rain shower and it had a real feel of the exotic. Trhoughout our stay we... more

We returned last week from a week’s stay at Dar Taliwint. This was an important vacation for us: we had not been on a real vacation, without kids or computers, for far too many years, and we invested a great deal of time in choosing a place that we hoped would provide a measure of both romantic and authentic. Dominique welcomed us warmly and met us at the car to lead us to Dar Taliwint, which is located on a pedestrian-only alley in the heart of the Medina. He immediately served us mint tea and some wonderful local sweets. Our room was sparkling clean and ready for our morning arrival. It seemed that our every need and desire was... more
