A truly outstanding Riad. We were treated like family the moment we arrived until the moment we left. Nothing was too much for the staff and everything was delivered with a smile. The rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms a dream!. The Riad is in the ideal location and leads you to all the riches to be found in Marrakech.... more

Located in the ‘real’ Marrakech, in the Arabic quarter, within walking distance of the Djemaa El Fna square, the Dar Zaouia afforded us an extremely pleasant stay. The immaculate interiors are tastefully decorated, and the service is impeccable: the proprietor and staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the breakfasts, and the other meals which they prepared on request, were... more

We four friends (ladies) have just returned fom our first visit to Marrakech. Riad Zaouia has been just absolutely superb. Simozine and everyone there were just so helpful and attentive to every detail, the rooms were beautiful, the food delicious and the ambience of the riad so relaxing. Simozine arranged a most suitable guide (Hamza) for some of our stay... more

We chose the Zaouia due to the popularity rating and location, and we weren't disappointed with either. Simozine was extremely helpful with the booking and nothing was too much trouble. We had a fantastic time in Marrakech, and it was a pleasure to stay at a gueshouse where all the staff greet you and make you feel welcome. The room... more

My husband reserved the whole riad for a birthday surprise for me. My friends and family were all staying and the service, food and extra touches added by Alahm, Simousine and the staff couldn't be topped. It was as if we were very special guests in their own home and nothing was too much trouble. The party they arranged for... more

We had a great time in Marrakech but the best experience was staying in this riad. The place is wonderful, the food superb and the hospitality and attention from the staff made us feel as we were home. specially thanks to Simozine, Zeneb and Saadone. The food prepared by Zeneb and Rkia is amazing, everything is home made, best place... more

This is a beautiful and peaceful riad in the heart of the ancient medina. The welcome is warm and personal - as a guest in a home. That personal attentiveness continued throughout our 3 night stay. The style is traditional and sumptuous but the facilities are clean and modern with the reconstruction having just celebrated its 5th anniversary. A quiet... more

Fantastic location in the center of Marrakech with nicely decorated rooms. Very cosy ambiance. They also provide above average breakfasts. Don't miss the roof terrace for a beer at sundawn and enjoy the company of the very charming owners Ahlam and Alain. more

We stayed in the blue room and loved the traditional Moroccan style and ambiance here. The service was excellent and dinner (by arrangement - you have to book ahead) superb. Good location in a quiet cul-de-sac for exploring the medina - take a map it's easy to lose your way. Don't miss the roof top terrace - great for a... more

We just returned from 2 days at Dar zaouia in Marrakech; the location of the riad is great, closed to the center, but the riad is dark, the rooms have low ceiling and the decoration is not delicate. Pleasant terrasse. The breakfast was good. it's overpriced for the quality of the service and the rooms. more
