We stayed at the riad Tinmel during the winter holiday and had a blast. The driver (Rachid) came to pick us up at the airport and showed us around the riad, which is simply gorgeous and a haven of peace. The bedroom was very cosy and clean, and pretty well decorated. They brought us some moroccan pastries and tea 5... More

This Riad is everything you expect in terms of architecture and design but........ the location is terrible. It is at the northern most point of the medina and a long and complicated distance from the Djemma el Fnaa and the remainder of the attractions. If this is your first time to Marrakesh, I would not recommend you stay here since... More

I now know it is a the very northern tip of the medina but no way would I have found it otherwise - taxi's cant go into this part as the streets... More

The buildings and rooms are excellent and the night security man excellent in assisting us. Other service came a bit slow and they could be hard to find. Other riads provided free maps of the region with clear directions where as we were given vague directions and were offered a map for 20 dh. The manager included a charge for... More

We have just returned home after 10 days in Morocco. Our first 3 nights were spent at the Riad Tinmel. We relaxed and enjoyed the peace and calm after the overwhelming noise and bustle of Marrakech. The staff were friendly, discreet and so helpful -especially Ishem. On our first night my friend and I had a relaxing massage, organised by... More

We recently stayed at Riad Tinmel at the beginning of a week in Morocco. We stayed for a total of three nights. The inside of the Riad is everything you would expect from a commercial Riad, shaded courtyard, small swimming pool, Hammam (although it was being restored when we were there), air-conditioned rooms and a small kitchen offering dinner and...
