We recently spent 4 nights at the Riad in early May, and enjoyed every minute of it. We were warmly greeted by the owner when we arrived, who instantly made us feel at home and from then on give us excellent service (including a free room upgrade). The staff are wonderful and the location is excellent (close to the main... More

A really paradise inside the confusion of Marrakesh, better than a 5 stars hotel. The owner is a fantastic person and all his team, who is always willing to help and with a smile. Thank you to all for this great experience.

The location is perfect, the riad is beautiful and the breakfast is delicious but the great thing about the place is the magnificent staff - Mubarek who is the fulcrum of the riad, together with Hannan and Bouchra. They will do everything to make you feel welcome. My French is a bit rusty but the staff always made a Huge... More

The ancient frontage of El Sagaya hides a jewel right in the centre of the vibrant Medina. When the guardian greets you with a warm smile at the entrance, you still do not realise what a world of enchantment you are entering. The riad is truly stunning. Forget two up two down terraced living in the Uk, this is Moroccan... More

À beautiful place to stay the night in Marakkech. Beautiful rooms, perfect roof terrace and friendly people. Breakfast is good and we had dinner next to the inside pool, that was delicious! I really recommend this place! Riad El Sagaya....

This riad was our first experience and although not our last, it will be for here. Mubarak, the host was kind and attentive until he realised he wasn't going to screw any more money out of us. After which he became close lipped and surly. We had paid everything up front before we arrived and he didn't like that one... More

I appreciate that the riad experience is not for everyone. However, I have to take issue with several of your comments. No guest has ever accused our guardian of trying to 'screw' money out of them. If he didn't know about the paypal payment then that is my fault for not communicating it to him for which I apologize. At... More

This riad was like home from home. Such accommodating staff, - a big THANKYOU to Mubarek for opening the door each night without complaining once! Breakfast was always delicious and the freshly cooked pancakes and chapatis were delicious. A very friendly, warm atmosphere, kind and attentive staff and bedrooms were always clean and welcoming. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

Spent a very pleasant three weeks in this riad so had time to get to know the staff. Everyone made us so welcome and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. The riad is very welcoming, spotlessly clean and has everything that you expect from riad style accomodation. Breakfast on the terrace is just wonderful and breakfasts were always... More

Upon arrival, my girls & I were not impressed at where this Riad was located. Never the less inside is lovely. Every room is different, but our rooms in particular were nice and spacious. I was not impressed by the fact that our bathroom had no door, which meant when showering/using the toilet one could be seen. Our room upstairs... More

Very friendly staff, great location, amazing atmosphere! The roof terrace is perfect to chill out. The room and bathroom were okay value for the money. Good tajines (although we got a different one than we had ordered).
