Very friendly staff, great location, amazing atmosphere! The roof terrace is perfect to chill out. The room and bathroom were okay value for the money. Good tajines (although we got a different one than we had ordered).

The riad was a lovely peaceful oasis near the edge of the medina. Yassine the host was absolutely fantastic, pleasant and friendly with a great sense of humour. He had good local knowledge and organised some wonderful trips for us including an amazing one to the desert which was very good value. The other staff were also excellent and we... More

We really liked our stay at this riad until we were about to go on our desert trip. We had asked to stay another night once we got back extending our total stay from 4 nights to 5 nights. We were given a verbal yes but a couple of hours later that was changed to a no. We ended up... More

The manager of the riad was welcoming as soon as we arrived, offering us mint tea and conversation (even though he seemed tired-as we had arrived quite late at night). When we declined the mint tea he graciously offered up an apple and we sat around the table discussing sites that we could see the following day- and most importantly... More

Absolutely gorgeous hotel!! Yassine was such a lovely host and so much fun! We had the best time! If you're looking for a no fuss home away from home this is the place! The only reason that I gave the hotel 'very good' instead of 'excellent' was that there were a few ants in the room... but this was a... More

We stayed at Riad El Sagaya for a week, from the 17th March. It's only a 20min drive from the airport which was a great start, as we were tired from the late flight. We were greeted by Yassine who was happy to see us despite the late arrival time, he explained everything to us that we needed to know... More

When we arrived we were not sure but after settling in we really enjoyed our stay. Yassine is really nice and very helpful he arranged our trip to Ourika which we would recommend it was a lovely trip. Breakfast was really nice and as we don't drink coffee Yassine made us his special mint tea which was delicious. There is... More

We arrived late after our flight was delayed. The Riad is on a narrow street and would be difficult to find but our Airport Transfer driver took us right to the door. The Riad opens up into a wonderful peaceful courtyard and we were greeted by Yassen the Manager with the customary mint tea. Our room was right off the... More

When we first arrived, it wasn't easy to find, because we took a taxi, and hadnt realised there was a shuttle from the hotel. Having read lots of reviews on Marrakech through TripAdvisor, we were highly aware of the possibility of getting ripped off, instead what we have found is that the people are friendly and have a genuine desire... Riad El Sagaya is a gret base for a trip to Marrakech. You will find the staff to be charming, friendly and helpful. The riad offers oasis of peace compared to the streets of Marrakech as well as a nice roof top with views across the city. The rooms are simple and clean with a nice, well equipped bathroom. The...
