We stayed here for 4 nights over the New Year, staff organised a car to come and meet us, which waited even though it took us an hour to get through passport control. I would recommend getting a car to meet you in Marrakech as its easy to get lost! On arrival at the Riad, we were informed that our... more

Riad El Sagaya turned out to be a great choice for us. The rooms are spotlessly clean. One of our 2 rooms on the ground floor also had air conditioning. Breakfasts are fantastic - you can take them in the courtyard on the ground floor or on the terrace in the sunshine. Endless supplies of coffee, fresh orange juice, crepes,... more

We very much enjoyed our 2-week stay at the Riad. Once in the courtyard, away from the narrow noisy street outside, it was a calm and peaceful oasis. We are good walkers and found it easy to access all the city's many attractions on foot. It is also easy to get lost, so do buy a good city map first... more

This Riad is perfectly acceptable, very clean and peaceful, we always looked forward to getting back to it after a few hectic hours in Marrakesh. They dont serve lunch or dinner but breakfast was great. Hotel isnt the easiest to find but a taxi will get you to the general area! more

My wife and I recently stayed a,t Riad El Sagaya for 3 nights, on two different occasions. The riad is perfectly fine, but nothing special. Be careful with the rooms you request. Our first two nights were spent in an upstairs room that was pretty basic and small. Our last night we were put in a downstairs room that was... more

The riad is beautifully decorated with a wonderful roof-top terrace. We enjoyed delicious breakfasts and afternoon tea on the terrace every day. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure that we had good directions in and out of the medina, and arranging for an evening Fantasia. The courtyard of the riad was a peaceful place to relax in... more

We stayed at Riad El Sagaya for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The riad is beautifully decorated and clean, with a lovely terrace and courtyard. Our room was nice, but there was only a curtain separating the bathroom from the bedroom and from the main courtyard of the riad, which didn't allow for much privacy! The staff was extremely... more

Friendly, relaxed, clean with delicious breakfasts. This place feels homelike - with no books of rules or set times for things like breakfast or checkout. Staff leave you to do your own thing but are there to help with a smile when needed. One gotcha - you need to pay in cash which we weren't warned about - so save... more

I have just returned from a wonderful week at this riad - run by ever helpful host Youssef and his English wife, Annabella. As you enter the courtyard, the smell of orange blossom hits you - it is green and peaceful and a wonderful place to escape the heat and the chaos that is the medina. At night, it and... more

We had a really nice stay in the RIad- 6 nights. The staff were friendly and the room was nice but the terrace was definitely the best feature- it was great to go and relax up there after the manicness of the city outside. The location was pretty good, although it was very easy to get lost as its like... more
