wonderful place, great location - lovely rooms (I stayed in the fiancée room). I stayed four nights, could have stayed longer. the food was delicious (as a solo traveler, I chose to have a couple of dinners at Dar) and the staff was more than helpful. I took the cooking class, which was great, and Lucrezia helped me arrange a... more

My partner and I jetted off this last weekend to Marrakech. We wanted to stay within the medina to get the full Morroccan experience but didn't want to splurge on our hotel and instead enjoy activities, meals out and some souk shopping. If you are looking for a boutique experience without the price tag, look no further! The riad is... more

We truly enjoyed our 4 nights stay at Dar Attajmil. The Dar is beatifully decorated and we felt so welcome there. The rooms are comfortable and oh so nice. We felt so spoilt and well taken care off. The location is superb, it is only 5 minutes to the central place in Marrakech medina. Nevertheless thanks to the construction of... more

I was in the group with Dan having his 30th birthday and I reiterate everything he said. This place is truly amazing. Our group booked out the entire riad so we felt like we were welcomed guests in a family. Nothing was a bother and they seemed totally at our mercy. The food was out of this world!! So fresh,... more

I decided to spend my 30th birthday in Marrakech with family, and looked at dozens of riads before settling on Dar Attajmil - and am I glad I did! Quite simply, the most stunning accommodation I have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Every single thing about the riad is just perfect - the rooms, food, location, value...but the... more

I can't say enough good things about Dar Attajmil. The rooms are fabulous!! Large, unique, ornate, and very clean! The hotel riad is exceptionally clean and has the most serene atmosphere. You feel like you're stepping into an oasis of calm. Once inside you never want to leave. And the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. It has been by... more

I really enjoyed my 4 nights here. It is smaller than some of the other guest houses in which I stayed, which made for a quieter and more intimate experience. The location is excellent....just a 5 minute walk to to the main square and a short walk to a road with taxis. As I was recovering from some stomach troubles,... more

Apr 6, 2009 | Trip type: Friends getaway

This is a truly wondeful place to stay. We stayed with friends, and had three rooms. Because of this, and because we were so well looked after, it felt like our own personal riad. It is very hard to describe how good and considerate all the staff are. We had breakfast when we wished, on the roof terrace - wonderful.... more

A great Riad, 5 minute walk from the main square. The breakfasts on the roof top were amazing and filled me up for the day. Another must is the unlimited supply of mint tea - the best I had in Morocco. It was a very peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the Medina, a total sanctuary. The rooms... more
