We visited this hotel at the end of April 2015 for a week with friends. The reviews on trip advisor were a bit mixed, but the price we paid was so reasonable we decided to go for it. I am so glad we did. The gardens and pool area were wonderful, the staff were so helpful, they couldn't have done... More

Not a bad hotel. Nice grounds and pool although many of the benches are for decoration only as they have not been maintained. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff are varied in their approach, some very friendly and others .... no so Food is OK most of the time and very tasty at others. If you can get half/full board... More

This hotel is located not far from the city outer wall, only taking about 10 mins to walk there. Remember though it's a further 10 mins into the centre of the city. The hotel was very clean, but in need of some modernisation, with decor in rooms being basic. This is the reason for giving it an average rating. The... More

This hotel is rated as 4 star but honestly it is a 3 at the most. The only things good about it are the grounds, with lots of grass and trees AND the proximity to major/important areas. The phone was mickey moused and came out of the wall. There was a fridge BUT nothing in it and not even turned... More

Five years ago I had to find a new hotel in Marrakech, so I checked out all in Hivernage. The main attraction in Golden Tulip is the vast pool in a lush garden, it is peace and quiet compared to the riads in Medina. Besides the 4 story main building there are many small cottages in the vast garden, mainly... More

Spent a night here while on an excursion to Marrakech. The hotel was OK. Room wasn't great in need of a renovation. The food was great though. Didn't deal with the staff enough to give an opinion on them. We did have Wifi in our room on 2nd floor.

public areas are ok but the carpet in our room was not cleaned . Probably should give it two and a half stars. Hotel is near the bus depot which can be very noisy.Staff was friendly and food service was good.

The reception area and ground floor common parts are attractive, but.....the bedrooms are small, the bathrooms are in dire need of attention. The wifi only works in certain parts of the reception and intermittently at that, The food was dull and unimaginative, and the evening scrum for dinner created a situation in which the main course had simply run out. The ill... More
