Overall clean hotel, as there were four of us we were given two room's next to each other with a door joining both the room's, that the hotel staff unlocked for us this was rather helpful. The problem was the constant noise from the construction of the hotel next door did get rather annoying at times, especially in the early... more

We stayed here for two nights with our tour group. The hotel is situated directly across from the opera house. Our room was medium size, with two narrow beds placed together. Only one of the three pillows supplied was satisfactory. The room contained a mini-fridge and safe. CNN was the only English-language television station available. There was no good reading... more

Have just returned from a seven night stay at Ryad Mogador Opera, was a bit anxious going after reading some of the reviews of the hotel on trip advisor. I went with two friends for a city break and we had a very pleasant stay. We picked the hotel because of its location, safe area and close to Ave Mohommad... more

Well where do I start... On our arrival we discovered that the lift didn't work, we were taken to level 'e' which doesn't exist, we then decided to walk up 4 flights of stairs rather than risk getting stuck in the lift. Another word of warning, the staircases do not have sufficient lighting, you will fall over if you don't... more

2 of us stayed here for 2 nights over the New Year as part of a tour of Morocco. Apparently the usual hotel was not available so we were put up here. Our room was actually ok with pleasant decor & facilities. We had a main road facing room so traffic noise was a bit of an issue. However, I... more

On arrival it was evident they had messed up our booking by reserving 2 rooms instead of three. They claimed a third room was not available. We were asked to go to a newly opened sister hotel just 200 yards away, with matching facilities. Reluctantly we agreed, the less than helpful manager insisting this was the only option. The hotel,... more

This place is never a 4* hotel, it makes a premier lodge look like the Plaza, the staff are some of the rudest most unwelcome staff I have ever experienced and the rooms dont have all the features that were listed. They even charged us 3 times the usual rate to get a taxi to the airport. Avoid it! more

I stayed at Riad Mogador Opera Hotel in Marrakesh for 1 night only as i was going to casablanca the following day. I had a bad experience with one of the receptionists who over charged me for using the hotel phone. I was charged 263 dirhams for 9 mins double the rate which should normally be 16 dirhams per min... more

As two Anglophone expats living and working in Morocco, my associate and I decided one Sunday morning to have a coffee in the lobby of the Ryad Mogador Opera. We ordered one coffee and one cafe au lait. After waiting 15 minutes, a cold and unwelcoming waiter finally delivered our order. After one taste, my friend (who is diabetic) called... more
