We really enjoyed our stay at Riad Yasmine. From the moment we arrived and were given mint tea and pastries, the service was excellent. We ate at the hotel on the first night and it was delicious. The continental breakfast was a yummy selection of croissants, breads, jam, honey and I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice. Our waiter brought... more

We arrived lateish on December 28th to a very warm welcome by the staff who rustled up some food for us without question. Later on, we found their advice about directions to and from the Riad and about taxi prices to be very helpful. The service was excellent. The room was comfortable and spacious and was kept clean. We ate... more

On the contrary to all the raving reviews, it was a BIG disappointment. First of all, the location sucks. It’s far from the main part of Marrakech; we had to cab it everywhere. it takes about 20 min to walk to the souk, IF you're lucky not to get lost but you will. and we didn’t feel safe to walk... more

A magical place with truly fantastic staff.... nothing was too much trouble. We didn't even meet the owner who seems a controversial character. Location is great for seeing the real city and so long as you know the 100m route to Bab Taghzout, the taxis can always get you home when you get lost (and you will!).... food was very... more

Other reviewers have commented very favourably on this delightful Riad and I could only echo what they have said. One point to add though is that the Riad now allows sale of alcoholic beverages and the availability of a bottle of wine with the excellent in-house dinner or a cold beer by the pool brings my rating to the very... more

the place was amazing. A little oasis in the hustle and bustle of the marina. The owner was wonderful and we had a great night with him for company. It did take a day or two to find our way around but we found the walk through the souk from the far end of the square an adventure every day.... more

We were puzzled by a previous review which expressed concern over the new owner, but having spent four nights at Riad Yasmine, we understand why. On arrival, we found Riad Yasmine to be a beautiful and peaceful little place, brimming with charm and a haven away from the manic Marrakech streets outside. We were offered mint tea on arrival and... more

This is a very good value riad. The rooms are lovely and the plunge pool is a treat. The staff, especially Chouki and Hafida, are great. Food is fine. The location is the only concern, though they do give you a map to help you find your way around. But the local streets are confusing, busy with motorbikes and a... more

The Riad Yasmine is beautifully appointed internally, and the French Algerian management/ownership shows in the attention to detail. The small, but exquisite, internal courtyard is simply delightful, and as a guest you feel like you're in your own private resort. It is lovely, and the dipping pool is the star attraction here. The downside is the location - it is... more

I can't really make up my mind about the Riad. Staff were really really welcoming, helpful for booking trips, advising on restaurants (without bias or obvious commission), very attentive. We were frequently given peppermint tea, without asking for it! Service and food at meals we had there, were lovely, although slightly pricey (250dh per person for 3 courses), and we... more
