I had a last minute short stay in Marrakech. I was spending 4 weeks in Europe for a european vacation. A friend of my advised me that a trip to Marrakech would be a great contrast to my european experience. He told me to stay in Dar Silsila. THe plane fare from London was about $150 and $120 back to... more

My friend and I stayed for 3 nights at Dar Silsila. We stayed in a small room with 2 twin beds. The room was charming and met our needs. The first night we arrived we had a lovely meal of tangine prepared for us at the hotel. It could not have been more perfect. The tiny courtyard was set for... more

This is the BEST service I've ever experienced! Ritz Carlton, move over! WOW! And I only paid how much? What impresses me is how the staff anticipates your needs (Mohammed you are the best!) - the level of service, professionalism, and friendliness have truly exceeded my expectations. I can understand why they won the Traveler's Choice Award from TA -... more

This riad is truly an oasis within the bustling walls of the Marrakech medina. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and offered mint tea and yummy biscuits. Conveniently located, with attentive staff, the atmosphere of the riad immediately made me feel relaxed, and was a real sanctuary after the hard haggling we did in the... more

My friend and I were in a Marrakech for a 4 night stay taking a break from husbands and children back home in the UK. We wanted to find a charming riad that would help us quickly begin to get a flavour of Marrakech. Dar Silsila more than delivered on that. We were welcomed by Mohammed (the owner Jean Patrick... more

Good location, an 8 minute walk from Djemaa el Fna, but it's down a rather dark alley and confusing to find, so do have someone from Dar Silsila collect you at the airport. I stayed in the smallest room with single beds - very comfortable and clean, perfect for traveling with a friend. Beware the shower - which has such... more

We researched Marrakesh accomodation on Trip Advisor and this Riad had great reviews and offered reasonable prices compared to the other Riads - we weren't disapointed. Our flight was delayed for 4 hours but our taxi was waiting for us when we finally got through the terribly slow customs, and drove us to the Riad where we were welcomed by... more

Surprisingly pleasant start to our holiday in Morocco . The staff are incredibly helpful. . They will arrange to pick you up at the airport (for a small fee) and the driver will bring you directly to the hotel. This was most helpful for first time visitors. Mohamed greeted us with mint tea and whisked our luggage to our room.... more

This is a beautiful riad, in a great location. Within the medina but easy to find and close to an exit for getting taxis etc. The very friendly staff - Mohammed, fuad and the women whose names we did not find out, really made our stay so enjoyable. They were always available and willing to make us cups of tea,... more

My husband and I stayed at Dar Silsila over 5 days last week, and we absolutely adored our experience - we can't say enough good things about this riad! When we arrived (I highly recommend asking the Riad to arrange the airport transfer, which costs 15 euros - so convenient, definitely worth the money), entering into the Riad was like... more
