A thoroughly bad welcome into Pierre's and Annabel's "home" that completely spoilt our visit to celebrate a special event. we were given a windowless and incredibly cramped room on the ground floor. the furnishings were dirty and stained and the walls were damp. it was nowhere near worth the price. the roof terrace was shabby and the general feeling was one of neglect and a place past its sell by date. there are certainly much better places to stay... more

We have seen the other Riads only from outside, but we're still sure this one is a top performer. Casa Lalla is beautiful, clean (even for European standards) and welcoming. We felt really at ease all the time. We stayed at Casa Lalla in November 2007 for two days before heading into the mountains and desert and a night on our return. The breakfasts were consistently excellent and the one dinner we had there was superb (they served wine with dinner).
