When we arrived at the hotel after being ripped off by a taxi driver from the airport, we were told that there was a technical problem with the room (over booked for an extra buck I think) and we were shifted to anther hotel for a night. We returned the next day to be checked in and whilst the hotel... More

Room was huge, with two single beds and a kings size four poster, very impressive. The hotel is lovely and very traditional, not too far away from the centre, we usually walked there and got a taxi back (very cheap). Breakfast was very nice up on the roof, lots to choose from as long as you like bread ( i'll... More

Reading reviews and looking at the hotel's website we thought we were going for a 'thousand and one night' experience. Not quite the case, although we were provided with adequate rooms in a traditional setting by friendly staff. We found the room adequately sized and traditionally decorated. No luxury though, and that's not what we were looking for anyway. There... More

Just got back from Marrakesh and loved the city and hotel. The hotel is located in a nice part of the city with lots of cafe's and restaurants (many recommended in lonely planet and other travel guides). The Medina is a bit of a walk, but we paid between 30-50 drm for a taxi. The hotel is located on a... More

We stayed in this hotel for 5 days. The ambiance is fantastic. The staff is very helpful. You can get a detailed map of Marrakech at the reception. It’s a 20 minute walk to the old medina, but you can also take a taxi for 20 Dirham. Most taxi’s can take 3 persons max, but there are also larger ones.... More

Moroccan House Hotel is a reasonable comfortable 5 story hotel right in the heart of New Town. It's unique pull seems to be a earnest effort to authenticate their room with moroccan-esque daybeds and gilded curtains. Don't be tricked, though, this is not a full-on acculturated medina lodge, with friendly local innkeeper offering you mint tea as you hear the... More

A themed hotel that lacks quality. The rooms were decorated in a traditional Moroccan decor. The main door had a flimsy lock and did not look very secure. The bathroom was in a poor state that required attention. The shower did not work properly. Everyday, we noticed pieces of furnishings that went missing (e.g. rugs, lamps) and reappeared but only... If you want an EXPERIENCE and not just another faceless, international hotel chain, this is the place! We arrived from an early flight at about 12 noon and were welcomed by staff who spoke good English. We had booked a room for ourselves plus daughter and they asked whether we wanted a double bed or two singles. We were offered... More

Just got back from a week in Marrakech, and it was AMAZING....In fact, Im looking already for flights back there for short breaks! The main factor in making the holiday so fantastic was this hotel. Got there on the first day and they had double booked in error, so not only paid for us to stay in a local hotel... More
