We stayed here for a week in February. At first sight a truly charming Marroccan style hotel, but it didn't live up to standards. First thing we noticed was that it was very very cold. Then beds were pretty okay, if you only think about the mattresses, but they had only one sheet. You are supposed to sleep under the... More

The traditional riad decorated in flamboyant Moroccan style was the main plus to this hotel. The room was huge with a double and single four-poster beds. Staff were friendly and helpful and the massages/facials we had were amazing and reasonably priced. Our shower flipped between hot and cold and there was no way of fixing it and the bathroom was... This hotel can really make you feel like in an old Moroccan riad! It possesses all the furniture and atmosphere specifics for this! When entering we were welcomed by a polite staff who seated us on the comfy chairs near a little fountain in the hall so that we can wait for our registration documents to be ready! In the... More

Firstly lovely traditional hotel very well presented if you like the more traditional setting you will love this hotel. The staff are very friendly can't do enough for you. Great location for the more modern Gueliz area of Marrakech with plenty of shops shopping centre and modern bars and restaurants. Jeema el fna 5 mins in taxi. The breakfast is... More

Very good hotel with great location. I love the decoration of the room. Only a few minuses: The breakfast was not good enough. Good bread were missing and decent juice. The wifi had not enough power. And the ground floor was too cold in january to eat breakfast

Breakfast is not up to standards as hot breakfast is not served. Very dissapointed. Secondly the telephone is not working in the rooms and can not communicate with other family members in other rooms. Photo frames are too low near beds, Thankfully the AC and Heating are perfect in the rooms and the beds are very comfortable.

We had a suite (room 56) which was splendid in it's totally OTT style, hotel was really clean and quiet, shops and bars just a few minutes walk away and the tourist bus can be picked up at the square near The Renaissance Hotel. 20 minute pleasant walk (apart from the traffic) into the main square

we decided to go by the review and chose the hotel. We were not disappointed. It is not a luxury hotel but it serves its purpose. It is interesting and near to city centre, staff are very good, friendly, approachable and helpful. There is a shopping mall hardly 5 minutes from the hotel- nice. Jemma El Fna- the square if... I really like this hotel - the perfect start to our trip round Morocco. It's a little way from the medina, so you'll need to walk or grab a taxi. But, it was scrupulously clean, the food was nice and the crazy funky beds with leopard print pillows were a highlight!
