When I first saw the riad I fell in love with it. My daughter and I stayed there at Christmas and is a true jewel, filled with beautiful pieces of art, arranged with so much taste and care. Mohammed and Rafik we were the best hosts you could wish for. The location is just perfect, near Bab Doukkala, yet remains... More

We stayed in Riad Bahja for 6 nights and the service was excellent the whole time. It's worth phoning ahead and asking for a transfer from the airport to the hotel to be arranged, as it can get quite confusing navigating the streets, especially if it your first time in Morocco! We were dropped off at Bab Doukkala and were... More

This is an exceptional riad run by Muhammad and Rafik. Upon arrival, we were greeted with freshly made Moroccan tea and throughout our stay the hospitality was phenomenal. Rafik even took us on a tour of the area and showed us historical sights. We felt extremely safe. The riad is in close proximity to all of the markets. Breakfast was... More

Very friendly and helpful owner and staff who gave advice, helped to organise whatever is needed and made me feel at home after long days out. The breakfast is very generous. The Riad is ideally located to have most places of interest in walking distance. Still it is in a part of the Medina that didn't feel touristy. I had... More

The riad is located in the old village near all of the shopping and most of the sights you want to see, but down a quieter street. It is really nicely decorated and the rooms (we saw two) are large and situated around a courtyard. The only small thing about the room was that the water pressure in the shower... More

As all Riads in Marrekech it is not particularly easy to find, but as soon as we got our bearings we seemed to have no trouble making it around the Souks and back to the Riad Bahja. The owner was really friendly and gave us lots of local tips on where to go, what eat, what to see. The rooms... More

We arrived late in the night and the owner of the riad was still extremely hospitable, providing us mint tea and also arranging an impromptu vegetarian dinner of bread and side dishes, which was very appreciated. Over the course of our stay, the manager helped us with arranging guides, booking tickets etc. Food was overall excellent, although quite pricey. The... More

Behind the walls of the Riad Bahja we discovered the perfect ambiance right in the medina of Marrakech: a patio, a fountain, exceptional rooms, seating areas and a rooftop terrace, each decorated in a traditional Moroccan style with exclusive taste to the very little detail. The most beautiful place we had the chance to stay in Morocco! From the moment... More

We booked a suite with ensuite. These are high ceiling and highly decorated in traditional Moroccan style . The lighting was but low for my preference as the bulbs are all covered by Chandeliers. The owner and manager arranged for pick up taxi , guided tour etc. Any service you want is not a problem. Goes out of way to... More

My sister and I had planned to stay at Riad Bahja for two nights in May. We got into Marrakech and had a few issues finding the place (it is located in the old fast-paced Medina down a few side streets), but the Riad is a completely calm, serene and beautiful place with a courtyard. It is located about 10... More
