The Riad is situated in the northern Medina, being about 10 to 15 minutes walk from the Souks and Jemaa-el-Fna Square. You may be familiar with the chaotic and fascinating medina – but you are probably not aware of this oasis of calm and peace. The Riad is the home of Sybille and Saad, who are in every respect the... Riad Dar Sbihi is a haven of peace & tranquility in the vibrant, noisy old city of Marrakech. Nothing is too much trouble for the owners, Sybille & Saad & their very attentive staff & Sybille provides wonderful meals - breakfast on the roof terrece, evening meals in typical Moroccan surroundings by the beautiful courtyard which is full of exotic... Riad Dar Sbihi is a peaceful calm sanctuary within the Medina, a few minutes walk from the mad busy souks. It's a lovely place to stay in this frantic, weid and wonderful city. The hosts, Saad and Sybil, made us very welcome, and the staff they have are first class, especially young Abdul and Leila. We were looked after impeccably.... More

We were made extremely welcome by Sybille and Saaid, the owners and hosts. The young people Leyla and Abdul and all the others that looked after us were lovely. Food was excellent and good value, so fresh and tasty. we would definitely visit this Riad again.

Simply put - the best holiday of my life. Marrakech is captivating and addictive This riad is run by a coupe who's sincerity maybe a veneer, but who's experience and knowing what you want and how to deliver it is triumphant. I would stay here anytime and at any price.

Riad Dar Sbihi is a stunning little find in Marrakesh. The accommodation was excellent with a choice of rooms on arrival. Staff are fantastic and were always there when you needed them. Eating in was a bit of a problem, we were totally spoilt, every where else we went could not quite match up to the standards set by our... More

Saad used his families home as a model to capture the essence of tradition in this Riad's beautiful restoration. Sibylle and Saad are extremely helpful and even offer the use of a cell phone to facilitate independent exploration of the souks. The riad is located steps away from the Taghzout gate ..so easy to reach by taxi after a long... More

We enjoyed five star service, warm welcomes from all the staff, superb practical local information and Morrocan cuisine which was superb in quality, flavour and presentation. Saad or Sybille, who live in the Riad are always there to arrange food, find you a guide to the souk, change money, offer advice on possible destinations, restaurants etc. They make every effort... The Riad was beautiful and the staff couldn't do enough for you but all at a cost. Trips were organized and they where really good but the calls to the taxis were on top of the trip cost. So put aniother 2 euros on for the telephone call. The food was lovely but worked out expensive around 30 quid a... More

My friends and I (3 lively girls) stayed at this breath taking riad for 5 days and felt compelled to share our amazing experience. Here is a 3 reasons why if visiting marrakech you have to stay here: 1) The location is central to everything. Its in the northern part of the medina 10 minutes from the souks and about... More
