We went to Marrakech to celebrate our daughters 21st birthday, we have been to Tunisia, Turkey and Egypt so thought we knew what to expect. We booked the Riad through THompsons but the flight with Easijet as we only wanted five nights. When we arrived it was pouring down and we were an hour late but the pre booked taxi... More

Sybil and Saad are really lovely hosts and they have created a beautiful haven in the middle of the madness and majesty of Marrakech. The rest of the hotel staff are equally as lovely. Everyone always had a smile for you and nothing was too much trouble. Sybil's menu is extraordinary (I recommend you start selling a cook book!) and... More

This Riad is a hidden gem in the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. Push open the little wooden door and you'll find a beautiful place to stay. Bedrooms and bathrooms are clean, well equipped, comfortable and quiet. The owners attention to detail and service is second to none. Breakfast on the Terrace is a wonderful relaxing experience and in early... More

A couple of years ago we discoverd "Riad Dar Sbihi"situated somewhere in the middle of the Medina. The enthousiasm of Saad & the Belgian Sybille works contagious. They try and fulfil all your wishes. The riad itself looks as if it stepped out of an eastern fairy-tale.

We have just returned from a 7 night stay at this purely magical and hidden gem of a Riad in the quiet Northern Medina of Marrakech. It really is hidden away and I would not advise trying to find it for the first time by yourself, although when we showed the taxi drivers the address, they knew exactly where to... More

Riad Dar Sbihi lives up to the claims made on its website, and you can take the photos on its website as an very accurate representation of what is on offer. I have noticed a number of critical comments on Tripadvisor, and believe that they represent the reviewers' unsatisfied expectations, rather than promises unfulfilled. Dar Sbihi is a very pleasant... The Riad is done up really nice, very tranquil and traditional style, very impressive! The lady that owns it is also very friendly. However thats the only good thing about this place. Our stay started really badly, when a few quiet glasses of wine on the balcony (at 11pm), turned into the husband of the owner telling us that we... More

This is a great place to stay, we had a really good time. I don't really understand why it is not rated much higher on Travel Advisor. The hotel is beautiful and is a peaceful oasis in the middle of the hussle, bussle, noise and general chaos which is Marrakech. Our rooms was very comfortable and the inner gardens a... More

Walking in from the dusty, busy Medina streets this riad really did have the WOW factor. immaculate and traditional in appearence, Definatley have dinner in... More

The room was comfortable, and clean but noisy from motorbikes in a alley ajacent to our bedroom. we ate there once the food was good but very expensive (approx £30.00 per head) without wine, drinks are also overpriced. returning to the Riad in the evening especially after 11pm you have to ring on doorbell to get in, and the owner...
